There are a number of reasons why I’m not terribly crazy about the whole “go pink!” aspect of Breast Cancer Awareness/Support, but they have nothing to do with the cause itself, which is, of course, a good one. I know far too many women who’ve had breast cancer.
That said, as we head into October, you’re going to be seeing plenty of “pink” merchandise. Do you buy it for a good cause or do you buy it because you like it? Not quite related, but I’ve noticed that at my local Kohl’s (right next to the places I grocery-shop, so not out of the way!), they have little kiosks so if you can’t find something in the store, you can order it online at the kiosk with your Kohl’s card, and it ships free (I don’t know if it ships to you or the store). Pretty cool option, if lots of Kohl’s have these.
