So, you know how Halloween candy is more expensive the longer you wait to buy it, but if you buy it early you eat it all? No…? Okay, maybe that’s just me.
Amazon is currently offering various Nestle fun size packs with an additional $6.54 off at checkout (edited to add: it appears to only be taking that much off for the Butterfingers, Baby Ruth, and Crunch bars). So, for example, my pre-gluten-free-days favorite, fun size Butterfingers, come out to $7.80 shipped for 6 bags. That’s crazy.
So yeah, you’re going to buy way too much candy and then you’ll have to eat it. So I’m sort of sorry about that. Except I’m not, because now I really want a Butterfinger.
Thank you. I’m currently in the hell of trying to find peanut safe, palate expander safe, but still fun and yummy Halloween candy. I have a feeling you understand.
Yeah, I have a feeling it’s not going to happen.
I looked and it only took $1.89 off, not $6.54.
Never mind—I see that it only applies to Butterfinger, Babe Ruth and Crunch. All others on that page are $1.89 off.
The pages I looked at said they’d ship in 5-6 weeks, so this won’t help for Halloween… which means I probably shouldn’t buy any, right??
Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, and Crunch are all showing “ships in 5 to 6 weeks” for me. That would be a serious situation – having to run out and buy full price candy, and THEN getting tons of chocolate in the mail… too late for trick or treaters to help me eat it. My jeans just groaned at the thought.
Yep, I have pretty much resigned myself to buying candy at the last minute and paying full price … I’ve tried the “oh it’s such a good deal I’ll stock up weeks in advance”. I just eat it all ahead of time and still have to buy more. Think I’ll skip the weight gain this year.
I’m with you, Mar. I have to buy it on the 30th. Or maybe on the 31st. Otherwise it’s mine all mine.
Augh, I hope the “Rightcliq” ad gets OFF your website soon! It keeps blocking some of your precious words of wisdom, and I feel quite deprived.
