But if you want a Kinect…

Honestly, I am a little bit suspicious of the Kinect. I see the ads everywhere (I think I’ve had some ads for it here on Want Not, even) and I only sort of understand how it works. You know how long it took me to embrace the Wii; you’ll just have to excuse me while I put on my tinfoil hat and maintain that I don’t want a gaming system that looks at me.

My paranoia, however, should not dampen your desire, if a Kinect is what you’re after. Right now at the Microsoft Store the Kinect is available for $300, plus you can use coupon code TNSGIFT10 for another 10% off, making it just $270 shipped.

The bundle includes the 4GB XBox 360 console, the Kinect Sensor and Kinect Adventures game, and one month of XBox Live membership. I have no idea what any of that means. But it’s a good deal if you’re not a new technology pansy like me.

    HAHAHAHA You’re so pretty!

  2. Ha, my daughter saw the ads and declared she wanted one. I just told her it wouldn’t work with our 1992 Magnavox TV, it seemed the easiest way to squash her urge. 😉

  3. Count me in. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  4. I had no idea that you had to wave at it. That is kind of creepy on its own.

    Happy Thanksgiving

    Everyone is so pretty!
