Now I’m hungry

Nothing says “I love you and the holidays” like a fancy pancake pan. No, really. Why are you laughing?

If you go check out Williams-Sonoma today, they’re offering a one-day deal on both the Ebelskiver Filled Pancake Pan and the Nordic Ware Waffled Pancake Pan (scroll down a bit on the main screen, if you don’t see them). Both are half price for one day only; pay only $20 instead of $40. Shipping starts at $6.50, but only goes up to $8.50 for two. (And yes, there are knock-offs of both of these which are cheaper. These are expensive, quality pans.)

I don’t think I have to tell you how much my children want that Ebelskiver pan. I think they think those pancake balls could easily be filled with chocolate and magic.

  1. Oh! I want! I want! I want!

  2. Aebelskivers are a tradition in my family for the last 35 years. Love them!

  3. Ahhh! and I’ve been so good to avoid buying the $12 version at Costco – knock off or not, their stuff tends to be good. I don’t even have kids, so I really don’t need snowflake, happyface, christmas tree, or truck pancakes … but maybe my 10 month old nephew does?

  4. I have this pan, and sadly paid full price for it…but it was worth every cent I spent, so at this price, it’s a steal! Make sure to check their website for amazing recipes for ebelskivers as well!

  5. Ebleskivers are awesome. Especially with Nutella.

  6. My hubby bought me the Ebleskiver pan for my birthday! It is great! My girls love them with Nutella!!! To fill them easier we use a cheap ketchup bottle (you know, the red ones from the dollar store that are perfect for picnics) and cut the tip at an angle. Then, just fill with your batter and squeeze away! Oh, and I love Williams-Sonoma!

  7. Diann, that’s brilliant – thanks for that tip! I’m always trying to use an ice cream scoop or a big spoon. Messy.

  8. Ebleskiver rocks. Especially when your mother-in-law is Danish and making them is in her blood, and makes vast quantities upon request when you visit. Just sayin’.

  9. Oooh, I’m tempted, but the Ebelskiver Filled-Pancake Pan it says that it’s not suitable for smooth-top ranges, so I can’t get it, boohoo.
