It’s a beautiful day for a Friday

Is it just me, or was this week, like, twice as long as normal? Maybe don’t answer that. Thank goodness Friday always makes me feel just fine!

The Amazon Friday Sale is sporting the usual suspects (spoiler: coffee!), and the 16-packs of Plum Organics Peach Mash and Banana Mash are back at just $13 each again, too.

Also at Amazon, they’ve got a huge selection of Buy 1, Get 1 Half Price Video Games, many of which are already on sale. And don’t forget to check out this month’s crop of $5 MP3 albums, particularly if you haven’t spent that MP3 credit we all got earlier this week.

6pm.com is playing my tune, today: deep discounts on Dansko, Born, Clarks, and more! I do get a little excited about those rare Dansko discounts, I admit it.

Need a code? Right now at Eddie Bauer you’ll get free shipping with any non-clearance outerwear purchase and coupon code STAYDRY. Their rainfoil jackets are on sale, so if you’re picking up one of those, you’re getting a deal and free shipping (and if you’re like me, you’ll then pillage the clearance for other stuff and get free shipping on it).

Today’s Deal of the Day at Sears is a 5-piece spinner luggage set for just $70 (65% off). If you don’t want to deal with shipping costs, remember that you can buy online and pick up at your local store.

If you love Oprah—or even if you don’t, heck, I bought an O magazine on a whim one day and totally got sucked in—today’s Mamapedia Deal is a year of O magazine for just $10. But if you’re new to Mamapedia Deals, create an account and coupon code OPRAH5 will take another $5 off, making your year-long subscription just $5! That’s over 80% off the cover price. [Hat tip to Dealicious Finds for this one. Thanks, Jasmine!]

I think it’s time for some more coffee. I’d pour you a cup, too, but it seems like that could get messy what with trying to stuff it through the computer monitor and everything….

  1. Dansko AND Born on the same day? Oh my.

  2. You had me at Deep Discounts on Dansko…music to my ears.

  3. I’ve had one pair of Dansko professional clogs that I loved. Are their other shoes as comfortable and supportive?

  4. And, 6pm.com is doing $2.95 flat rate shipping through 2/14. Score!

  5. These week sucked. Like bad. Thank goodness I have material items to cheer me up.

  6. i love all my danskos, probably have 7 pair. Don’t have sandals, they look interesting, wonder if they are as comfortable. Only shoe i can wear all day without my back hurting! thanks Mir, you are so pretty!

  7. Ooh the Dansko Brielle boots!!!

  8. @Elizabeth – if you want to get a completely different type of shoe than what you are used to, I would suggest trying on a pair in real life first. I have several pair of Born clogs that are very cushiony and give me great arch support, but when I bought a pair of Born sandals and wore them around the house for a while, they made my feet hurt from the lack of cushioning and arch support. They fit me completely differently from my clogs, even though they did feel comfy at first when I tried them on at the store. Luckily I bought them at a department store and was able to return them.

  9. Dansko sandals generally have little to no arch support. Do not recommend if you need those arches. Some clarks do have support as do earth sandals.

  10. I also do not recommend the Dansko sandals. The footbed is really slippery and the arch support just isn’t there. I actually blew out my knee wearing some Dansko sandals on an uneven rock staircase.

  11. Man I love a good clarks sale

  12. Thank you! Got two ds games for an up coming birthday! saved $10 bucks and they were both free shipping! awesome!
