If you missed the last hand soap deal

It’s that time again: Right now liquid or foaming anti-bacterial hand soap is just 5 for $15 or 7 for $20 at Bath & Body Works. I am a fool for this sale because 1) we are all delicate flowers with sensitive skin, and this soap doesn’t irritate even though it smells good (our other option is scent-free, everything-free, which is both more expensive and boring), and 2) the foaming soaps seem to last forever, as even over-zealous kids are getting significantly less soap per pump than with a regular dispenser.

Coupon code SPRING20 takes an additional 20% off your entire order, which helps to counteract the shipping. Or I suppose you could go check out the sale in-store, but that requires getting dressed. [Edited to add: Pretty reader Julie says you can also stack code NEW20 for another 20% off and free shipping over $50! That one ends today, I think. Thanks, Julie!]

  1. I stacked the Spring20 code with the code New20 and got 20% off AND free shipping on orders over 50.00 (and it didn’t have to be over 50.00 after the 20% discount!) Just thought I’d share…

  2. Thanks! Just refilled the pumps with the last of my supply, so this is timely!

  3. Does anyone know if these soaps contain triclosan?

  4. Valerie, I just checked the labels on three different scents I have in my possession, and none of them list triclosan. (What is that? Do I want to know?)

  5. I’m being told only one promotional code per order.

  6. I see one code per order too.

  7. Nope, no stacking codes, it’s telling me too. Julie, what’s your secret.

  8. Hmmm…I did spring 20, then added something to my cart, then did new 20. It SAID only one per order, but it gave me 20 off and then free shipping. Not sure why it’s not still working. Sorry if I’ve led anyone astray…

  9. Mir, triclosan is an anti-bacterial agent, which has been linked to germ resistance and is being investigated by the FDA.

But in the U.S. manufacturers are required to list in on the label, so it’s pretty likely its not in there if you didn’t find it.

    Thanks for the awesome deal!

  10. Actually, I just checked the two bottles we have in the house, and they both have Triclosan 0.3% listed as the active ingredient in the drug information section.

  11. Aaaaaack, Meghann is correct. I was looking at the ingredient list, not realizing the triclosan was listed up above. So sorry for the misinformation! Apparently I have to learn how to read.
