You’ll be back to packing lunches soon

I know that some of you have barely begun your summer—not that I’m bitter, or anything, given that we’re back to school in just a couple of weeks, here—but you’ve got to check out this great Groupon for ReUsies today. $15 gets you $30 to spend on nylon-lined cotton pouches to tote sandwiches and snacks, and if you haven’t already said goodbye to baggies, this is your chance to go green on the cheap.

We already use bags like this, but I just noticed that in addition to the bags they have a custom drying rack, so I’m going to snag the Groupon and get the rack (saving us from sandwich wraps hanging all over the kitchen) and replace a few of our wraps that have seen better days.

And yes, I’m aware that my excitement over reusable sandwich bags may indicate I need to get out more. Ahem.

  1. I’ve been lookign for a cheap way to get into the green baggie business! Thanks. Just an FYI, it appears that the groupon is only useable for the sandwich and snack baggies (see the deal info). Still a good deal.

  2. Hrm, somehow I missed that! Oh well, I can always use more bags if it won’t let me use it on the rack. (Still totally buying the rack, though!)

  3. Thanks Mir…you always post the deals at just the right time…..

  4. This will be my first year of packing lunches… not looking forward to entering this new territory … keep the deals coming !

  5. LOVE this. I’ll be grabbing these soon. (The princess goes back to school August 22.) I’m so excited that these are bags and not plastic containers. The plastic containers don’t fit in the “cool” lunchbox that my daughter just HAS to have. These will be perfect!
