Garmin Nuvi, price so groovy

One more deal before I go hunker down with my family, some pie, and the Punkin Chunkin coverage on TV? Okay, if you insist.

Today only, Amazon has the Garmin Nuvi 1390LMT 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Map & Traffic Updates for just $130 shipped—their lowest price ever.

I don’t have this exact model, but our third (hush; I am really terribly navigationally impaired) GPS purchase was a Nuvi with lifetime maps and I love it more than is probably sane. Lifetime maps is a huge bargain, because the units without it will charge something like $70 for an update. So basically for less than the cost of two updates, you get the last unit you’ll ever need.

I mean, unless you can find your way around without one. In which case, good for you, I guess. And would you like to drive me around?

  1. One of these days mt lack of updated maps is going to get me in trouble. BTW, we’re watching Punkin’ Chunkin’ too!

  2. Last weekend my daughter got lost only two turns from where we were watching her brother play tennis in Orlando. She wants to move to DC when she graduates. Yeah, this is her Hanukkah gift. Order placed…
