The thing about Lock & Locks is that it starts out casually. You just need a few containers that absolutely, positively won’t leak in your kids’ lunchboxes, that’s all. But then you try them and it’s like, well, your eyes open to this whole new world. Suddenly the rest of your plastic food storage seems inferior. So you buy a few more pieces. Maybe throw out some of your old warped stuff. But somewhere along the way, you realize it’s become a habit you just can’t kick. Because you don’t have one in that shape, yet! And look, purple lids!

you are so right. i got these last time they were on woot, and i really love them. now i’m on the lookout for smaller containers (this set has a couple but i’ll need a few more next year), or i’d buy a second set of these! (i can quit anytime i want to.)
My local grocery store had this set 3 years ago when I was shopping for lunch containers. http://www.organize.com/loloaifocoro1.html. The sizes are perfect. After 2 years of hard use, it’s about time for some new sets.
I’m in! I have resisted thus far, but they have intrigued me since the first time you mentioned them. I ordered red, but I’m curious to know if the picture shows the blue or the green lids. My computer doesn’t have the best color resolution and they look bluish-green to me :).
