Oh, hey. I’m not dead, I just sort of wish I was. Haha! Little humor, there. Turns out my injury and subsequent surgery kinda laid me out for a bit, and typing is still slow and painful. My husband is setting me up with some dictation software, so hopefully that will help get this show back on the road.
In the meantime—a few deals to snag today:
It’s Friends and Family time at Children’s Place, so today you can use coupon code FRIEND30EM to take 30% off your entire order. That’s on top of all the current markdowns, plus shipping is free when you spend $75+ (it’s just $5, otherwise).
The whole Gap family of stores is offering discounts this weekend—use code ONSAVE20 for 20% off at Old Navy, code GAPGIFT for 20% off at Gap, code BRCREATE for 25% off at Banana Republic, or code EXTRA20 for an additional 20% off sale items at Athleta. (Granted, most of those are pretty standard offers, but I do love the extra savings at Athleta; that one only happens a couple of times each year.)
Need a sparkly little dress for homecoming? Today’s Target Daily Deals feature six darling styles (each available in four different colors), each down to just $39 with free shipping. On top of that, if you spend $75+ they’ll knock off another 20%, so be a hero—buy her two dresses and reap the savings.
One of my very favorite stores, ThinkGeek, just added a ton of items to the Sale section. Time to start picking up stocking stuffers!
And speaking of stocking stuffers… I bought a bunch of these “strawberry” bags one year. They’re adorable and perfect to toss in your purse; then when you run into the store for “just one thing” you still have a bag. (These will take a while to ship, but it’s only October.)
Hopefully I’ll be up and running again soon. Thanks for your patience!

I swear, Mir, you’ll be shopping on your deathbed. Please take care of yourself – you’re way too pretty to have to work this hard.
Dragon Naturally Speaking works great for Windows machines. Get well soon.
I’m using Dragon on my Mac now. Still on a learning curve, for sure, but it’s helping!
