It’s a perfect day to shop for Halloween or anything over at Bon-Ton—every single order ships for free, automatically. In addition, it’s Friends & Family time, so you can use coupon code FFCTECM2012 for an extra 25% off nearly everything. And that’s on top of the various sales and deals, which already include up to 50% off costumes.
I, of course, will be dressing up as The Legend Of Zombie Fingers, but just in case you want something a little more mainstream and less involving of, uh, busting your hand… this sale might be a better route.

I was thinking I might buy for next year but the costumes are SO expensive, even with the double discount!
On the subject of their pricing for Halloween costumes: RIDICULOUS. Do not be led astray! For example, they’ve got a child’s Air Force pilot costume, “sale price” of $70 … original price of $140!?! Sorry, Target has the exact costume for $49.99, which is less than what you’d get it for at Bon-Ton, even with the discount. There are probably some good deals to be had here, but the so-called original prices seem somewhat deceptive, calculated to give the impression you’re getting a steal when that may not be the case.
I think that’s a good point, Heidi, and true of most department store pricing—“original prices” are nearly always inflated. As always, do your research and price comparisons before purchasing.
