LEGO storage made simple (and cheaper)

If everyone’s favorite plastic bricks are taking over your house (or are about to, once Santa brings some more), check out this LEGO 6-Case Workstation and Storage Unit with 2 Base Plates at Amazon—it’s everything you need to get everything organized and up off the floor when playtime is over. Even better, if you look in the righthand column of “More Buying Choices” you’ll see that when you select Amazon as the seller, you can get it for just $35 shipped instead of the $60 price tag.

My favorite part is that it comes with two base plates, which normally run $7 apiece on sale. So basically you’re getting this massive storage unit for $21 after you pay for the plates. Plus you’ve got all those cool cases with handles if you ever need to take some LEGO on the go with you. Very cool.

  1. Out of Stock! It’s perfect and I’d love to get it. Think it’ll actually happen?

  2. Serendipitous timing – I had just emailed you about this *exact* topic 🙂

Temporarily out of stock…hopefully they actually get it in soon.

  3. Generally if they’re still letting you order, you will get it eventually. 🙂

  4. In for two! Oh, wait, this isn’t Woot. I’m still In for Two!

  5. Thanks! We desperately need this!

  6. Boo, back up $60 🙁

  7. dang, i was just saying i need something like this. i’ll keep an eye on it.

  8. I paid $75 for this a year ago, and it was worth it. $60 is still a pretty good deal. We just started building Anakin and Sebulba’s pod racers last night.

  9. Ack! I don’t see the Amazon option! And I’m tired of stepping on their little heads.
