Thanks for the reminder. Today, my UPS guy did something I have never seen a UPS guy do: He WALKED. Normally those dudes run like they are being chased by hellhounds. It was refreshing, but weird.
I live in an apartment building, and my UPS (and FedEx and postal guy) all do the drop and run thing. I only know that something is outside my door if I hear it fall (they literally drop and run). If it is a small package and doesn’t make much noise (or he comes at 9:30 and we thought someone was just making a racket in the hall), we usually trip over it when we walk out our apartment door. *sighs* I would love to have a person deliver something appropriately just once…

As it gets closer to Christmas, my UPS guy will come part way up my steps and toss soft packages towards my front door.
My UPS guy was flirty this morning. Not friendly, but flirty. It was weird.
Once a month my sons meds get deliver and the ups guys always tells me it needs to be refrigerated…I think I know that by now.
I changed jobs (and moved!) about 6 months ago and one of the things I miss the most is the daily visit from the UPS guy who looked like a lovely cross between Ryan Reynolds body and George Clooney’s face. I’m happily married but fights ensured over who go to sign for packages!
