I still don’t entirely “get” the whole Vera Bradley craze—I prefer a leather purse, and a solid-color one, at that—but they do have some cute stuff. And where else can you coordinate your purse, sunglasses, pencils, flip-flops, and bed linens? (No comment on whether or not this is a good thing….)
Anyway! Today you can save extra on your Vera Bradley purchase, so if there’s something you’ve been eyeing there, consider this your sign. Coupon code VB20 will take an additional $20 off your $75+ purchase, even if you’re buying stuff already on sale. Better still, right now shipping is free on your $75+ purchase, and that’s calculated before the coupon, so if the coupon takes you under that, your shipping is still free. Sweet.
Just in case you’re a nicer mom than I am, this would be a good time to get a little back-to-school something for your favorite teen girl while picking up something for yourself. Just a suggestion.

In the North, everyone pretty much carries Vera bags. I was actually in a TJ Maxx in Westerly, RI the other day, and every single woman had a Vera bag. Every one. It was kind of funny because I of course was one of them. I have 36 and counting.
36?!?! Do you switch out your bag every day to match your outfit? I am tired just thinking about this. 😉
That would take way too much work! I buy one every quarter or so and carry it until I get the next one. I usually don’t use the older ones, I just can’t part with them…
I’m not a Vera girl, but rather a Coach Outlet girl. I have 18 between handbags, a tote, wristlets and small bags. I do like to rotate them around every month or so, plus get a new one each year (or twice a year) to add to the mix. The online outlet is pretty hard to resist. I’m going to look at Vera, though, for a few neice Christmas presents.
