I was considering ordering a new jacket from winter – but I’m weirded out by the sizing. Since when is a 12 a medium? I’m not sure whether to go medium or large now….I usually get a large in things since I’m a solid 12, not a 10/12…but I wouldn’t normally get a 14-16, which is what they’re calling a Large.
Sarah, I find Lands’ End’s sizing to be pretty generous; I normally wear a smaller size with them than other places (except for in swimsuits, because swimsuit sizing always seems to be a little weird). So, I’m guessing the medium will work for you, but if you’re worried, you could always order one of each and return the one you don’t want to your local Sears store.
Ditto to what Mir said. Unless you’re going to be wearing super bulky sweaters, I’d go with the medium in a coat.
