Sew perfect

If you’ve been waiting for just the right deal on a sewing machine, today could be the day! Amazon’s Gold Box holds the Singer 7258 Stylist Award-Winning 100-Stitch Computerized Free-Arm Sewing Machine today at just $129.99—its lowest price ever.

This machine is a Consumer Digest Best Buy, as well as having an average rating of 4.5 stars with over 340 reviews. I can’t get over the fact that it comes with ten different presser feet. This may be because I’m the person who can always mess up loading the bobbin even in machines that claim their bobbins are foolproof. (What can I say? It’s a gift.) It’s fancy, is what I’m saying, though today’s price is comparable with machines that only do half what this one is capable of.

  1. I really want this to sew a christening gown with all the fancy heirloom things, entredeaux, lace inserts, etc. My current machine isn’t all that great, and it’s probably 20 years old. But it works fine for all the normal stuff I do… household sewing, minor alterations, etc. I don’t think I can add 120 to the cost of the linen and lace and still feel that my head is screwed on, pregnant or not.
