If you’ve got something techie on your shopping list—think computers, TVs, video games—and you have a Paypal account, get on over to Rakuten (formerly Buy.com) and have a look. In addition to their Cyber Monday specials, they’re offering an additional $30 off your $100+ qualifying purchase when you pay via Paypal and use code PAYPAL30.

Among the items where you can apply the savings are a couple of Nintendo 2DS consoles. No, it’s not the latest/greatest/biggest/bestest, but if you have a kid who’d be satisfied with an older model, at $70 after the coupon, that’s a hard deal to beat.

They’ve also got computers, cameras, hard drives, tablets, headphones… all kinds of stuff. Already on sale and then another $30 off makes things a lot more affordable.

  1. I just tried the PAYPAL30 code, and it tells me it is expired, which is odd since I also have an email from Rakuten telling me it is good until 12/3.

    • Huh. That’s weird. I would see if you can get customer service to help you out, that’s not right.

      • I sent in a request to customer service – we’ll see what happens.

  2. Ok, what’s happening to me is that when I click on apply after entering the code, it says promo already applied. Well, no. I don’t want to check out until it’s resolved…

  3. I think that TigerDirect and Newegg are offering a similar deal with PayPal today!
