It’s March, so score an Amazon bonus

Spring ahead, and then get yourself $10 to spend at Amazon for no reason other than it’s the promotion they’re running this month. It’s easy—just go buy a total of $50 in gift cards, apply coupon code 0315GCARDS, and you’ll receive a $10 promotional code in your email.

If you have gifts to buy, perfect! If you don’t have any gifts to buy, well, you can always use your own cards, and if you shop at Amazon as often as I do, it’s a deal worth doing just for the bonus.

[Edited to add: You must be signed in to your Amazon account for this promotion to work. Also it looks like only some people are eligible and I don’t know why, but try it. It worked for me.]

  1. I get the following message when I click your link!

“Thank you for your interest in Amazon.com Gift Cards.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.”

    • Are you signed in to your Amazon account? I know it won’t work if you’re not.

  2. When I clicked on the link, I got this message: “Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.” 🙁 Thank you anyway!!

  3. I get the same message, telling me I am not eligible. 🙁

    • Well SHOOT. If it works for anyone, let me know.

  4. Yeah, I’m signed in and also ineligible. Boo.

  5. I’m signed in, too, but get the same not eligible message 🙁

  6. Yep! Signed in – always. So strange, I don’t think I’ve ever come across an Amazon deal I’m NOT eligible for.

    • So sorry! I tested it first and I’m often not eligible for this stuff (it’s often targeted to lighter shoppers), so when it worked for me I assumed it was one of those open-to-everyone things. Hmph!

  7. Amazon is like Maury today – “You are not eligible for this offer.”

  8. Boo. Not eligible. 🙁

  9. not me, either 🙁

  10. Woohoo! Worked for me! Thank you. 🙂

  11. I tried it and it said the coupon code had been applied, but so far it hasn’t emailed me a code.

    • Typically with a promo like this, it won’t send for 1-4 weeks. If it said it was applied, though, you’ll receive it.

  12. Not eligible 🙁

  13. Worked for me! Thanks!

  14. Apparently I am eligible–fate making it up to me for the migraine, perhaps. Thanks!

  15. I wasn’t eligible under our primary/family account, but my individual account (used to buy gifts for my husband, so he doesn’t see) worked!

  16. Worked for me! Used my son’s account to purchase the card and selected my email address as the gift recipient 🙂 Thank you!

  17. Woohoo – worked for me (well it applied), now can’t wait to get that bonus $10 by email!

  18. I’m back! (two comments above–#16)–purchased using my account and sent to my husbands email as recipient–and again it worked. I even used the same credit card with no problems. Happy Day!

  19. It worked for me so I am grateful, since I barely know how to shop outside of Amazon!

  20. Worked for me, even sending to myself as the gift recipient! Thanks!

  21. It worked from my husband’s account, but not mine. Yay!

  22. It said the code worked for me but I haven’t gotten an email with the extra $10 yet.
