We’ve become something of protein bar connoisseurs over here at my house; this is what happens when you have skinny teenagers who are always too much in a hurry to eat a proper breakfast.
Right now Amazon has two flavors of Builder’s Clif Bars available for under a buck a bar—$11.49 gets you a dozen. If you’re up to 20% off on your Subscribe & Save, a dozen bars will only cost you $9.19 delivered. These have 20 grams of protein apiece, and the reviews indicate they’re pretty tasty. Anyway, both the chocolate mint and the vanilla almond are available at this price when you select the flavor name and “2.40 ounce” as the product size.
We’ve been paying around $2/apiece for a different brand with a similar protein content, so I’m hoping my kids will like these.
Thanks! I wanted to try these and I appreciate the heads-up!
Thanks, Mir! You’re awesome!
Thanks, Mir!
Instead of buying packaged, make your own using your very fav cookie recipe and subbing in 1/4 c protein powder for 1/4 c flour, or more. Not just for gym rats. I use choc chip or even brownie recipes. Kids love it.
