The wonderful world of Oz for under a dime per book

Did you ever read all the Oz books when you were a kid? I loved them, and my son recently read them all and loved them as well. There’s 14 in all, and you can grab the entire Oz series on Kindle right now for $.99.

This is one of those “if you never read these, I promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised” series I’m always recommending to people. It’s hard to believe the first book was written in 1900—these stories hold up really well in spite of their age.

  1. Outwardly I’m calm, but my inner child is running around screaming with joy right now. I am SO getting these!!!

  2. Excellent – and ps, also available on Nook! (I have an ipad so I can do either but I previously had a Nook so most of my books are on there)

    • My kids actually both have Nooks, but they did the thing with a memory card where you can convert it to Android…? (I don’t quite understand how it works, but it means they can run the Kindle app, and I can buy them Kindle books!)

  3. Yes! DD is a HUGE fan of the WOO. Several hard copies, one copy of the first book on her Kindle, multiple DVDs (they keep coming out with special editions that loving family members give as gifts), as well as copies of the movie on her iPod, iPad, and iPhone, so that she will always have it available, even in a power failure. And the script, which we are required to act out on Thanksgiving. Autistic obsession? Why do you ask? 🙂

  4. YES! I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan (I have A LOT of stuff) and just downloaded this to my Kindle!! Thank you.

  5. I never read these as a kid, and some day I hope to have time to read everything I want again.
