Heads up if you’re in the market for LEGO for the kids—Amazon is starting to drop their prices already!
Get the Star Wars Rancor Pit set for just $33.11, or the Star Wars Jabba’s Barge set for just $72.67. Both of those are all-time-low prices.
You’ll probably find more if you poke around, but I wanted to get those up before they adjusted the prices again.

Great deal for my nephew!!! Thanks!
Hi Mir!
Can you point us to the Amazon toy category or provide a link that takes us to all the amazing toy deals? For years, I have been replenishing my gift closet with toys during the sales at this time of the year. So far, I can’t seem to find any! I’m hoping the big deals will start to show up and not completely disappear (a la the bygone era of k-cup Fri deals…).
Thanks!!
What Grace said. Although I’m not so sure it is as easy as sharing a link – I think it was the lovely Mir combing through the site and finding those deals for us. But my gift closet does need restocking.
It’s in the next few weeks that we’ll start seeing big drops, and yeah, there’s no single link. It’s usually a matter of finding something cheap and going through the “people who bought this also bought” items to find similarly cut-price items. I’ll try to stay on top of it!
I scooped up the Lego Friends Olivia’s house set for $50- its usually $75. : ) Now if I could just get a deal on the Dolphin Cruiser, my daughter’s Christmas will be done…
Why why why are the Lego friends line for girls so simplified compared to a “boy” Lego set? It frustrates me that Lego doesn’t seem to make a girl friendly Lego set that is equal amount of building as the boy sets. My girls want to build just as much as my son does not to mention if I’m paying Lego prices I want my girls to be able to actually build something more involved than a beauty salon chair or a dolphin cruiser.
Mir, lovely friend, you don’t happen to know if Amazon will price match their own stuff, do you?
I bought the Lego Chima Lion Temple on Friday for $83.99 (normally 119, so I was happy!). Today it’s $175.
If this was Target, I wouldn’t bother, I’d buy the cheaper and return the more expensive. (Yeah, I do that.)
But this is Amazon, and I try to avoid Amazon Returns unless my life and limb depends on it.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
(That, and the Chromecast was 29.99 on Friday, and back up to $35 today. Does Amazon pricing give you anxiety like it does me?)
That should say $75! Ha!
Maybe I need more coffee…
It used to be that they would do price adjustments with no questions asked; now their policy is that they do not. However, sometimes if you call and wheedle a little, they’ll offer it as a “one-time courtesy.” It’s worth a shot.
