Let me start this one out with a caveat: In general, I don’t think it’s a great idea to get a combination coffee grinder/brewer, because if one part breaks, you either have a giant grinder but no way to brew, or a brewer but no grinder. That said, this all-time-low price of $39.62 at Amazon for the Cuisinart DGB-550BK Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker is pretty much unbeatable, so I’d consider taking the risk. (I’m pretty sure I paid more than that for just our Cuisinart coffeemaker.)
Take a look if you’re in the market. You’re definitely not going to find it any cheaper, and you know that as soon as the orders start rolling in, Amazon will raise the price.

I almost bought this one (or maybe its big brother) last year to upgrade from our cheapy maker that we got when we got married 13 years ago but had a hard time swallowing the price tag and got nothing.
