Have I mentioned that my ancient KitchenAid mixer finally bit the dust, and for months on end I fretted about ponying up to replace it? I hemmed and hawed for so long, my husband finally scouted out an awesome refurbished deal (I’ve taught him well!) and presented me with The KitchenAid Of My Dreams as an early Christmas present.
(I’m pretty sure he was just worried I wouldn’t make cookies, otherwise.)
It’s a good thing I’m not in the market for a mixer, then, because today’s Overstock Daily Deal is the 90th Anniversary KitchenAid mixer and I don’t mind telling you that I feel a strong urge to lick it. That fire engine red! That glass bowl! It’s just so pretty. Overstock is offering it for just under $300, today, with free shipping. (For comparison: It seems to be holding steady at $335 at Amazon and elsewhere.)
Is this the world’s best deal on a KitchenAid? Well, no. But it’s probably the best deal to be had on this limited edition model, if this is the one you simply have to have.
Through Dec 13, Kitchenaid has a pretty $30 mail-in rebate on its mixers too. I found the form on their website.
I want that glass bowl… My KA is otherwise working just fine. For now.

(I LOVE this Kitchen Aid.) Unfortunately (?) I have a fairly new, Cuisinart Deluxe mixer that I got as a gift and (shhh, don’t tell), really don’t like. 🙁
It is even prettier in person and pretty much everyone who sees it covets the glass bowl. 🙂
