For the young (and young at heart)

I’m not a huge fan of Forever 21 if I’m looking for, you know, clothing which will stand the test of time (both in terms of style and durability), but my girlchild looooooves them, and even I have to admit they sometimes have cute stuff. So this deal is for her, and anyone else who needs, uhhh, unicorn bath salts and a snarky crop top.

Right now they’re running “4 Days of Deals” where you can click to take a ride on the ferris wheel (yeah, marketing is weird, y’all) and get a coupon. You could get a percentage off, or buy 1 get 1, or even a gift card! Combine that with the sales already going, or use coupon code TAKE5 to just take $5 off your $5.01+ order. You can choose free ship-to-store, or shipping starts at around $6. So there’s some good deals to be had, depending on what you’re wanting.

I do feel like I need to wear sunglasses while browsing the site, though. So. Much. Glitter.

Best LOFT sale ever? Maybe!

Listen, I have shopped many a LOFT sale in my time and gritted my teeth and paid the shipping because the prices were so good and the clothing so cute. (Example: I did indeed buy the blouse I was gushing about in this post well over a year ago and I still get tons of compliments every time I wear it because it’s amaaaaazing.) I’ve never seen them have a great sale and free shipping at the same time, and I’ve accepted that.

Until today. Today, the sale is on just about everything (and that includes an extra 60% off the most deeply-discounted Clearance items), and you can use coupon code SURPRISE for free shipping on any size order. It’s like Christmas came early! Just get a move on, because it ends tonight.

Free books!

Happy day-after-Easter! Show of hands, whose house had those giant ridiculous pool floats in (or, more likely, under) the Easter baskets this year? (*raising hand*) I can’t remember when I posted that deal, but my (adult) kids were pretty tickled.

But that’s not why I’m here. Nope, I’m here to tell you that for just a few days, Amazon is offering nine free highly-rated Kindle books from around the world in celebration of World Book Day. (Don’t have a Kindle? Don’t fret! You can get the Kindle app for just about any device.)

Now, I don’t know about you, but I have no idea when I’ll have time to read nine entire books. That’s okay, though. I went ahead and grabbed ’em all, and now they’re just waiting for me for when I do have time.

The only thing that could be better would be if the downloads came with chocolate, and I feel like that might be complicated.

Heads up for shoe deals

I’ll confess to being slightly less enamored of 6pm.com since they went to a $50 minimum for free shipping (boooo…), but I do still check over there periodically because sometimes the deals are worth it, especially if you have a bunch of shopping to do. Well, today would be a good day to stock up—they’re doing a Tax Week Sale, with some of the lowest prices I’ve seen there since Black Friday.

You know they have more than shoes, too, right? I mean, I’m not saying I’m going to buy myself this rose gold moto jacket, necessarily, but if I was, I sure would rather pay the current $35 price for it than the original $195….

If you were planning to outfit your rapidly-growing kids (or yourself) for the season change, anyway, you may just find some awesome deals. Check it out.

Better late than never, right?

Man, I was starting to think that Target just wasn’t going to do a Beauty Box this month. But the wait was worth it, because actually they’re offering two boxes for April! Choose from the regular April box or the Naturals April box—each contains 6 beauty items for just $7 shipped, allowing you to try out some new products or get smaller versions of favorites for travel or sharing.

I do think the value of these boxes is coming down, some; it seems like they used to have more items, plus a coupon to use on a future purchase. Still, I find them pretty irresistible because I’m a sucker for things like masques and teeny bottles of expensive products you’ll never find at the dollar store.

The best moisturizer at the lowest price

Gooood morning! Life is getting away from me these days, what with various “real world” people and things needing my attention. Hmph. I do apologize for neglecting you.

Also I apologize that this isn’t a sexier kind of deal—because, I mean, aren’t we more thrilled about a huge discount on a luxury item than an unusual but small discount on an everyday item?—but also I am not sorry because I love this stuff. That said, here you go: Right now Amazon has their 19-ounce tub of CeraVe cream listed at $15.07, which is their average price. But you can save up to another 15% on Subscribe & Save, plus Prime members get an additional $2.61 (oddly specific, Amazon, but I’m not complaining) off on their first order for some reason. The end result? Just $10.20 to your door if you play your cards right.

So if you’re unfamiliar with CeraVe, it’s pretty much the gold standard for “Oh you need a moisturizer but you have sensitive skin? Use this.” You know how those itty-bitty bottles of “facial moisturizers” cost a bajillion dollars? My dermatologist prescribed me a bunch of stuff for my face (which, the older I get, the more problematic my facial skin becomes; yay for aging) and then when I asked about moisturizer, told me to use this. You absolutely can use it all over, but as I’m less sensitive elsewhere I just use it on my face, and let me tell you, 19 ounces lasts a long time when you only use it for that. Plus it’s the only thing I’ve ever used that works and doesn’t cause irritation. I love it. I love it so much, I’m buying another tub because it’s so cheap, even though I’m not even close to being through my first one.

I went to Kohls and I didn’t die

Y’all know I absolutely adore Kohls, right? They’ve always got sales and coupons and bonuses, and they carry pretty much everything. But usually I shop them online, because as we all know, I am sort of allergic to going to the actual store. But I did! This weekend! My oldest was home for spring break and needed a few things, so we hit the actual store and cleaned up. Plus, we were in the checkout line when we realized we were just about $2 short of getting that sweet, sweet Kohls Cash, so then I had to buy a Godiva chocolate bar for us to eat on the way home. So, win-win!

I was just pulling said Kohls Cash out of my purse and realized there’s still time to score on this round of goodies, so let me help you get in on the deals:

* Right now everyone gets free shipping on $75+, 15% off with code SPRINGTIME, and $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 you spend. In addition, take $10 off $50+ on eligible Kids’ purchases with code KIDS10 or $10 off eligible Women’s purchases with code STYLE10.

* But through 3/31/19, Kohls Card holders also get free shipping on any order with code MARMVCFREE, plus save an additional 30% with coupon code FASHION30.

Do remember that Kohls will take deductions in the way most beneficial to them, so if you have 30% off and $10 off, they’ll take the $10 first, to reduce the percentage off. Also, you need to have those all-important $50 increments for Kohls Cash after coupons, and before taxes. Still, it’s hard to argue with savings like these, especially on top of their eight gazillion sales events.

Gear up with Eddie

It’s time for one of my favorite (and rare) sale events: Right now almost everything at Eddie Bauer is automatically at least 40% off (if not more), and you’ll get free shipping on every order, regardless of how much you spend. Gearing up for a safari? Free shipping. Want a single pair of socks? Free shipping!

If you want even more extra savings, shop the Clearance and apply coupon code MARCH50 for another 50% off the reduced price. You know that’s where I’m shopping.

Usually they have a sale or free shipping, but not both. Don’t miss your chance to scoop up these deals.

Time to make the kids adorable

Really the only reason I can think of to have a lot of kids is so that you can dress them alike for holidays, right? I mean, I’m not an expert or anything, but I’m pretty sure that’s true.

If your kids are still wearing actual kid sizes (as opposed to having a kid who now regularly raids your closet, not naming any names…), today’s a good day to go stock up at Children’s Place on everything, because they’ve got matching Easter clothes, sure, but also everything else they might need, and today:
1) The whole store is at least 60% off,
2) except for shoes, which are 50% off,
3) and you earn $10 Place Cash for every $10 spent,
4) plus every order ships for free!

I see they’ve even expanded their sizing some since my kids outgrew them—there’s an entire “tween” section now. I’m only a little bitter.

The word of the day is DeWalt

Whether you’re doing some home improvement or you (or someone you love, say, perhaps, someone who you’ll want to give something manly for Father’s Day, which is closer than you think) work in an industry requiring sturdy footwear and power tools, you’re not going to want to miss today’s Special Buy of the Day at Home Depot. They’ve got all manner of DeWalt goodies—from entire tool sets to steel-toed boots—up to 55% off with free shipping.

This is a particularly good deal if you want some of those shoes. Did you know DeWalt makes sneaker-looking shoes and non-safety-shoes, too? I didn’t, but now I do. Anyway. Take a look; those work boots almost never go on sale.
