The Britax deal is back, baby
I love it when Amazon does this deal: For a limited time, buy a Britax B-Ready stroller and get a freebie! Choose from their infant car seat ($180 value), bassinet attachment ($150 value), or a second stroller seat attachment ($150 value). This is all on top of the fact that the stroller is currently priced at $350, about $25 off its regular price, already.
Personally, the Britax prices still make me a little woozy, but everyone I know who uses them absolutely loves ’em, so why not get your fancy system here for a lot less money, if you were planning on it, anyway?
Happy Glam-O-Ween!
They’re celebrating Halloween over at Charlotte Russe with a one-day-only savings event: All regular price items are automatically 31% off, today.
Not bad if you were planning to do some shopping there, anyway. (My daughter would like it if I planned to shop there all the time. For her. Because there is no such thing as too many cute clothing items, in her mind.)
Shipping is automatically free on $65+, otherwise it starts at $6.99.
Cast iron casseroles, so purty
Wasn’t someone commenting the other day that the Le Creuset pots on sale at 6pm weren’t big enough…? I am too lazy to go check.
Maybe this will help: today Home.Woot has 5.5 quart enameled cast iron pots available for just $50 each (plus $5 shipping). They’re Cuisinart, not Le Creuset, but in reviewing the comments, it appears that folks find the quality comparable. (For reference: It runs around $80 at Amazon, and the reviews are stellar.)
It’s available in either red or blue, so pick your color and get your deal.
Baby’s first Christmas?
Full disclosure: I am maybe still a little bitter that my son—due on Christmas—didn’t arrive until January. I had the cutest tiny little Christmas outfit all ready for him, complete with a striped cap that was nearly as long as he was. And yes, he’s nearly 14, but that hat was really cute and he never got to wear it. What?
If you have a wee babe coming up on his or her first Christmas, may I humbly suggest one of these Disney rompers? They both look gender-neutral to me, but Amazon says this one is for girls and this one is for boys. Whatever. At $6.88 apiece and Prime shipping eligible, it’s hard to go wrong.
I mean, unless your rotten baby refuses to be born on time, that is.
Kate’s got a surprise for you
What’s that saying…? Champagne taste, beer budget? Or, I guess more aptly ’round here, it would be Kate Spade taste, Want Not budget?
Here you go: Kate Spade is having a Surprise Sale, and although the prices still make me a tad dizzy, up to 75% off is nothing to sneeze at.
What a lovely excuse to treat yourself or someone you love to something really, really pretty!
But… I’m not sure these are my size
Sure, you normally head over to 6pm.com for shoe deals, or maybe for clothing, but you (like me) probably forget that they carry other stuff, too.
Stuff like… deeply discounted Le Creuset.
Le Creuset isn’t my thing, personally, because I’m perfectly capable of injuring myself with the plain ol’ cast iron I already own, but it sure is pretty. I have friends who are collecting it slowly, thanks to the price, adding a piece here and there. This sale boutique today at 6pm might hold those little ramekins you’ve been pining after, or a pot. I don’t know. Maybe worth a look, though.
Need another Mom nudge?
If you’ve been on the fence about signing up for Amazon Mom, maybe this will seal the deal for you: Sign up between now and November 10th—either by paying, or with a free 3-month Prime trial if you haven’t had Prime before—and on November 18th, Amazon will give you a credit worth $25 towards diapers.
Personally, I need diapers like I need a hole in the head, plus I’m already part of Amazon Mom. But if I was still dealing with infants/toddlers and hadn’t signed up before, this would probably get me to sign up.
If you want to Kinect…
… then be sure to check out today’s Amazon Gold Box for the Bonus Deal of the Day. It’s the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle—that’s the console, the Kinect sensor, and three popular games—for just $240 shipped.
This is listed as having a regular price of $400, which is a bit of an exaggeration; normally this runs right about $350. Still, $110 off, and beating the holiday rush? If you’re in the market, this is definitely the deal to beat.
Stationery one more time
(Yeah, that was totally a “Hit me baby, one more time” earworm going on, up there. I apologize.)
If you missed the last great coupon at Expressionery, don’t fret! Now through the end of the year you can use coupon code HOLIDAY15 for $15 off your $15+ order! Alternatively (if, say, you’re placing a large order), coupon code SAVINGEXP35 is good for the next few days to take 35% off your order and give you free shipping. Surely one of those will work to get you the high-quality, personalized paper products you need at an affordable price.
(Why, if I was a better person who could actually manage to get a picture of my teenagers where they’re not making ridiculous faces, I’d probably go ahead and get some holiday cards. Maybe I’ll just send out pictures of my dog, this year. She’s very photogenic.)
I’m about due for some more ThredUp
The weather’s turning, and lo and behold… my teenagers’ clothes seem to have magically shrunk over the summer. So weird. I mean, I’m sure I bought my son brand new pants that were huge and now they’re too short. Huh.
No problem; I’ll just head on over to ThredUp this weekend, where my order of $20+ (rather than the normal threshold of $50) will ship for free with coupon code shipsale10. They’re having a pre-holiday clearance now, too, so the prices are definitely right.
There’s no easier way to get top brands in near-new (or sometimes even actually new) condition, all at deep discounts. And there’s no better excuse to do a little shopping for yourself while picking up pants for the kids. Er, so I hear.
