For your favorite Woot addict
You know how every now and then, Woot has Woot-Opoly available, and my standard comment is that it completely cracks me up (one of the tokens is a Bag O’ Crap, after all), but I don’t know that it’s worth $25 or whatever it is they normally sell it for…?
Well, right now you can snag Woot-Opoly at Amazon for just $5 with free shipping. (I guess it wasn’t as popular as they were hoping.) This is perfect for your favorite Woot fiend or for an upcoming White Elephant gift exchange.
Heck, for $5, I’m sitting here trying to figure out who I can give it to, myself.
Happy sale-iversary
Apparently they’re having an Anniversary Sale over at Bon-Ton, which is totally different from the sales they usually have. Yes. Just, uh, don’t ask me how.
Regardless, a sale’s a sale, and they have about a thousand pages of Bonus Buys available, and you can use coupon code ANNIVERS13C for up to an additional 25% off sale items, and every order ships for free with coupon code FREESHIP. That means I don’t care why they’re having a sale, I’m just going shopping.
Beat the holiday toy rush
We all know that crazy deals on toys are just about a month away, but prices are already starting to drop over at Amazon. If your kiddo love K’Nex, pick up some new sets now, before things get crazy: They’ve got three motorized sets marked down right now. Get the Robo Sting, Robo Smash, or Robo Strike set for just $10 each. The sets can, of course, be combined to make even larger creations.
Need a bucket of basics? Grab this 375-piece tub for $11.50ish, too.
These hurt slightly less than LEGO when you step on ’em, too.
Heads up, Final Fantasy fans!
I don’t pretend to know anything about the Nintendo 3DS—other than a certain child of mine complaining that all the cool games are only for 3DS and I need one so I can get more RPGs—but I do know that game deals for it are still relatively rare. I also know that anything that says RPG is something my kid is interested in.
Right now Amazon has Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy for the 3DS available for just $17.99 (see the “More Buying Choices” column on the right to get it for that price, direct from Amazon), its lowest price ever. With over 100 reviews and a cumulative 4.5 stars, plus the RPG component, I’m thinking this is one my kiddo will love. Maybe yours will, too.
Can a Woot-Off save the day?
I say yes. I have about a zillion things to do today that don’t involve looking for deals (oh the humanity! life getting in the way!!), but at least while I tend to all of that I’ll know you have something to keep you busy. They’ll be Wooting Off all day long today at Woot, Home.Woot, Tools.Woot, Kids.Woot, Sports.Woot, Shirt.Woot, and even Wine.Woot! That’s a lot of wooting.
If this is your first Woot-Off, you must be new here. Deals last for a maximum of half an hour, or way less if they sell out. I’ve seen good items go in under a minute. But basically there will be a rotating buffet of goodies at bargain-basement prices for about 36 hours, so I hope you don’t have anything on your calendar for today.
Two more for the holiday
There’s nothing quite like a holiday weekend sale at the big department stores. Whether you need clothes for the kids or a fancy kitchen electric, they’re right there with the sale prices, specials, and coupons.
Today at Macy’s they’ve got their Bonus Buys, plus free shipping on $99+, plus coupon code FALL will take up to 20% additional off your purchase (depending on department). And to top it all off, Clearance is an additional 25% off and it’s Clinique bonus time there, too, so that works out nicely.
Over at Kohl’s, there’s Bonus Buys, free shipping on $75+, Gold Star Clearance, and $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 you spend. Everyone can use coupon code OCTFAMILY20 for an additional 20% off, and code OCTOBER50 will give you free shipping on $50+.
Isn’t it some kind of rule that you celebrate Monday holidays by buying new bath towels? I think it is.
Happy Columbus Day!
Gooooood morning! I’ve already had two cups of coffee, made breakfast and packed lunches, and wept over a cute pair of Born sandals on huge sale being sold out in my size. My life is haaaaard. (Okay, I didn’t really cry. But I was sad!) Nevertheless, just about everything is on Columbus Day special over at 6pm.com, so I will keep looking, because surely there’s something else I need, there…?
Shipping is always free, and I spy particularly good deals on clothing today, in addition to shoes. Maybe a new pair of jeans will ease the sting of missing out on those sandals. (But they were hot pink. So cute! Darn my commonly-sized feet!)
It’s a big ol’ Tent Sale
Once again Oneida is going a big clearance, and this time they’re calling it their Fall Tent Sale. There’s tons of goodies to be had, with free shipping on $50+ order a flat $4 shipping on orders less than that. You can also use coupon code CB11 to take off another 10% from the sale prices.
I seem to remember these penny candy jars being popular the last time they had a sale; right now they’re just $3.99 apiece before coupon. If you’re buying a bunch of them, that’s about as cheap as you’ll find them. (If you just want one or two, you might be better off with the $5.96 price at Amazon.)
The site’s behaving a little wonky at the moment, so be patient. I’m seeing a lot of items listed at $99 when that’s clearly not supposed to the price! But there’s plenty of steals if you’re willing to pick through.
If you love Woot-Offs…
… check out the current Sell-Off at 1 Sale A Day. There’s a new deal every 30 minutes, and there’s no telling what’ll turn up. Shipping’s free, too.
As if you needed another excuse to be distracted on a Friday.
A good day to love LOFT
Had your eye on something at LOFT? Today would be a good day to shop—right now you can take 50% off regular-price styles with coupon code TAKE50, plus all already-on-sale items are an additional 40% off when you put them in your cart.
Shipping is free on $125+, or a flat $8.95 if you spend less. Personally, I often opt for a couple of extra items which I can then return to my local store, rather than paying shipping. The only danger there, of course, is that sometimes I decide to keep the stuff I didn’t actually need. Whoops!
