If you love Lancome…

… now’s the time to get over to Dillards, because they’re offering a $91 value Lancome bonus with any $35+ purchase. You’ll get an adorable Lancome tote, Defincils mascara, and then you get to pick out a bunch of other bonus items that go in the bag. It’s one of their best bonus offers, and only lasts as long as their supplies.

[I’m assuming this is really best for existing Lancome users, because I went and tried to pick out a powder color based on the little squares on my monitor and ended up with a headache. Better luck to you!]

Due for a night out?

Don’t head out to dinner until you’ve checked Restaurant.com, because there’s no easier way to save big bucks on someone else’s cooking. And today (Tuesday, July 16th) only, coupon code ENJOY will take an additional 60% off! That means $25 dining certificates will cost you a measly $4, leaving you a cool $21 for the babysitter or, well, whatever. I’m not here to tell you what to do with your savings.

I’m just here to remind you to save it, that’s all. Certificates are good for a year from purchase, so even if you don’t have any imminent plans, it’s probably worth a look. New restaurants get added all the time. (As always, don’t forget to read the fine print; each establishment sets their own rules, and you want to make sure you know about any restrictions before you buy.)

A good day for growing children

It happened again—I swear my son got up a full inch taller than he was when he went to bed last night. Craziness. Fortunately he’s still about the width of a strand of spaghetti (and not at all brand-conscious…), so despite his teenager status I can still buy shorts for him at Children’s Place. Shhhh, don’t tell. Today (Tuesday, July 16th) they’re offering free shipping on every order, plus you can use coupon code H6G531 for an additional 20% off. And they’re having a big Summer Blowout, which means prices are already slashed.

This is my last season that I’ll be able to shop here. What am I going to do with myself when my son finally finishes outgrowing them??

It’s a slice of Woot-Off

Generally when it’s time to Woot Off, the frenzy extends to most of the Woot sites (in addition to the main one)… but for some reason, today there’s a rotating offering of products on the main site only. So you can Woot Off at Woot, but not at Kids.Woot or Sport.Woot or (you knew I was going to bring it up) Wine.Woot. Curious.

[However, take note if you’re in the market for an iPod: Tech.Woot has refurbished latest-generation 32GB Touches today for just $220, which is also a pretty sweet deal.]

Nevertheless, this could mean some smokin’ deals all day long on the main site, lasting anywhere from a few seconds to thirty minutes apiece. And don’t forget that $5 for shipping covers you for an entire day, no matter how much you buy. [Edited to add: $5-all-day-shipping is no more, boo hoo!]

The sheets deal is back

This is always a popular one when it rolls around—today Tanga has queen and king 300 thread count “luxury hotel” sheet sets in a variety of colors for just $25 shipped. Folks who’ve gotten in on this deal in the past have reported back that the quality is excellent, and really, it’s hard to beat $25 for a large set of sheets.

Get ’em while the getting’s good!

Gourmet kitchen goodies

If you’re a fool for fancy kitchen stuff—and I don’t judge, because I’ve been known to get overly animated about things like melon ballers—you’re probably already aware that Williams-Sonoma is having a rare free shipping day today. Just use coupon code FREESHIP.

There’s plenty of stuff already on sale, too. If you’ve had your eye on something, today might be the day to bite.

A midsummer sandals deal

Normally I wouldn’t expect to start seeing deals on sandals until a little bit later in the month, but leave it to 6pm.com to rustle up some deals while there’s still plenty of the season left. One of their featured boutiques today is sandals under $39.99, and prices start at around $15.

I’m seeing Kamiks for $23, Naturalizers for $25—all kinds of great deals, really. And you have months to wear ’em before it’s too cold, too.

More fun for your Fire

So if you grabbed the refurb deal yesterday or you already had a Kindle Fire, today would be an excellent day to get your nerd on—Amazon is offering the Angry Birds Star Wars app for free, plus you get 30 coins with it (good towards another app purchase).

Now I’m really wishing I had a Fire….

C’mon baby, refurb my Fire….

(Sorry for the earworm.)

Right now there’s a Lightning Deal at Amazon on a refurbished Kindle Fire 8.9″, which could be a great way to save on the latest/greatest version if you’re so inclined. It’s certified/warranteed, so why not save a little if it’s something you’d been planning on getting, anyway?

I still have my trusty plain-old Kindle that just… lets me read books. I’m okay with that for now.

If you missed it last time

The last time the Home Depot Buy of the Day was 60% off on Filtrete filters, I didn’t notice it until late in the day, and I was too late to get in on the deal. This time, it’s early, so hop to it—this is the cheapest way to get that household item you always need but that’s almost never on sale.

Yeah, you have to buy a whole case at a time. But shipping is free and at 60% off, unless you’re planning to move, why not?
