In case you need some retail therapy
I don’t know about you, but my heart really isn’t in deal-finding, today. It feels like horrible news just keeps coming in, and mostly I would like to go back to bed (preferably with my fingers stuck in my ears).
But I know we all cope in different ways, so if a bargain fix is going to make your day easier, here you go: 6pm is having a big tax day event (for several days; I know it’s not tax day anymore) with hundreds of items priced under $50. If that’s a welcome distraction, go shop.
The sheet deal is back, baby
This one comes around every few months, and it still seems like an excellent deal, so here you go: Tanga has 300 thread count, 100% cotton “hotel quality” sheet sets today for just $25 shipped. Choose from queen or king and six different colors.
If you’re like me and constantly just remove sheets from the bed, wash ’em and put them back on, this may be the universe’s clue that having a spare set wouldn’t be such a bad thing. Just sayin’.
Happy Tax Day from Children’s Place
Far be it from Children’s Place to let a not-really-a-holiday-but-why-not go by without a sale, right? I guess you could go blow your return on clothes for the kids, and today would be a good day to do that because all orders are shipping for free. Plus you can use coupon code A3G153H for an additional 20% off.
I love days like these, because you can be all, “Oh, I forgot that Junior needs some socks,” and then you can go pick ’em up without worrying about shipping.
If you’ve been missing Eddie
Seems like it’s been a looooong time since we had a coupon code for Eddie Bauer. I don’t know why that is. But if you’ve been watching and waiting, today’s the day: Coupon code WATERFALL takes $15 off your $75+ purchase, or $30 off your $150+ purchase.
Eddie does have a habit of bilking us when it comes to shipping costs, so what this coupon will do is negate the shipping and save you a few bucks beyond that, but still. It’s better than no coupon, and a lot more convenient than a ride out to the Outlet (unless you live next door to it or something… do you?).
Shop now, save more
Old Navy doesn’t want you to wait; shop today (Friday, April 12th) with coupon code ONSPRING and you’ll get 25% off you entire purchase (save for exclusions like Everyday Steals). Can’t find the time today? Well, you’ll have the weekend (April 13-14th) to save 20%, and Monday (April 15th) you can still take 15% off your total (all with the same code).
Similarly, shop at Gap today and you can use code GAPSHOP for 30% off adult styles, but the savings decrease into the weekend. Don’t forget about the shared basket across sites; get to $50, or add any item from Piperlime, and your entire order ships for free.
Basically, the early bird gets the higher percentage off worm. Or something. Okay, you know what I mean. Go save!
TGIKohlsday
Yep, we’ve made it to the end of another week, and that means it’s time for bonus buys over at Kohls.
Everybody gets $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent, plus shipping is automatically free on your $75+ order. And everyone can use coupon code SHOWERS for an additional 20% off even already-reduced prices.
I got caught in this perpetual Kohls cycle for a while there… I would stock up on deals during an earning period, which would get me a bunch of Kohls Cash, and then I’d go spend that when I could, but then I’d realize I forgot something so I’d go back during the next earning period… you know how it goes. So today I’m not even going to look. Probably.
Warehouse clearance at Tanga
What’s happening at Tanga today? Oh, just a little bit of clearance with free shipping, that’s all.
I was prepared for it to be the crummy stuff no one wants, but they had me at the kids’ shirts that say “Daddy’s Little Angel” only “angel” is crossed out and replaced with “ATHLETE.” I love that even before I saw it’s marked down to just $3.15. Plus there’s cell phone cases, jewelry, and a bunch of other stuff. (Whoa. Just scrolled down and found 2-packs of EcoCanteens for just $7.77.) Eclectic, but cheap. Just like I like it.
Clearanced clearance (my favorite thing)
If you go on over to Graveyardmall today and check out the clearance, you’ll see that you can take 80% off those clearance items today with coupon code Take80off. Sweet!
They have some really adorable cookie jars (teacher gifts?), and shipping is a flat $4.99 today, too, which means that with the coupon, you can really clean up.
Time to stock up on Melissa & Doug
If you love Melissa & Doug’s wooden and pretend-play toys (and really, who doesn’t? People who hate kittens, probably), you’re going to want to hit 1 Sale A Day today and check out the Family section. It’s chock-full of M&D deals, and everything ships for free, too.
They have my favorite wooden play kitchen ever (hooray for gender-neutral colors!) for just $85. Amazon is at $96, though it’s worth checking over there to read the glowing reviews.
Why must children grow up and demand shiny electronics instead of adorable wooden toys? Whyyyyyyyyyy??
Bargain trail-running
I always forget about Joe’s New Balance Outlet, and then when I remember to check over there I’m always all, “Oh, I love this place!” Apparently I’m sort of slow.
Anyway! Today’s Daily Deal over there is the New Balance WT10BL trail running shoe for women for just $35 (MSRP $105). We saw a pair of these at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago for $50 and thought that was an amazing deal. This is from their Minimus line and has a Vibram sole, so overall they’re featherweight and make your feet happy.
Joe’s is also running free shipping on your $50+ order right now, which means you could pick up something else you need and save the shipping.
