Luck of the Irish… shoes?
Today (March 17th; St. Patrick’s Day!) only, 6pm.com has a slew of choices (not just shoes, even) for just $17 (or less) each. How did I almost miss this? (Oh, right. I wasn’t home.)
Hop on it now, before it’s gone.
Stock up on paper products
If you cruise on over to the Staples website today and check out the left sidebar (scroll down), you’ll see two fabulous deals on paper products—first, you can get a case of Sparkle paper towels for just $20 ($.67/roll), and second, today’s mystery deal is a cast of Cottonelle bath tissue for $20 ($.42/roll).
Shipping to your local store is free, or spend $45+ for free shipping to your home. If you have the need and the storage space, you could clean up on these deals. (Get it? Get it?? Sorry, I’ll shut up now.)
Panty raid!
Hey, there’s two words I haven’t heard put together in quite a while. Heh.
It’s not me, that’s what Maidenform is calling their panty event today—get an additional 50% off all panties (discount appears in cart). Most styles are already marked down, so this is your chance to clean up at great prices.
Use coupon code SLICKFREESHIP for free shipping on any size order, or shipping is free when you spend $75+. (It’s possible that coupon code CMQ2A, which takes $10 off $50+, could be stacked with the panty sale if you don’t need the free shipping code.)
Go on, buy yourself a little something to replace those sad pairs in the bottom of your drawer. It’s okay.
We’re all Aero friends today
It’s Friends & Family time over at Aeropostale, which means you can take 30% off ‘most everything for the next few days. It doesn’t work on Clearance (boo!) but it does work on items already on sale (yay!), which means there’s plenty of deals to be had.
(Personally, I don’t know what it is about this store, but my teen has a Pavlovian response to it. I’m just happy to be able to shop it online, because the one time I went into the actual store I went deaf from the music and could feel my IQ dropping as a nearby hoard of teens pushed their way through the racks, discussing whether or not hair extensions look natural. Yeah.)
Music to my ears
There’s little I like more than seeing “final sale” at Rue La La—it means rock-bottom prices on drool-worthy items I can’t otherwise afford.
Stuff is selling out from under me, though, so shop quickly if you’re interested.

Lock it baby one more time
I know, I know; I’ve posted a whole bunch of Lock & Lock deals lately, and most of you have already gotten what you need. But invariably someone posts or emails the next day to say “Ack! I missed it!” And nothing is sadder than missing a deal.
So: Today at Home.Woot you can snag an 18-piece Lock & Lock set (with your choice of colored lids, even) for just $18 shipped. This set claims to be nestable, which is cool, because my only complaint about my Lock & Lock stuff is that it doesn’t stack as well in my cabinet as some of my other food storage containers.
Wow, here I am waxing rhapsodic about food storage before I’ve even had my second cup of coffee. I must really like this stuff.
Wii will assimilate you
Are you the last person on earth who doesn’t own a Wii? I know you’re out there, somewhere.
If you don’t have a Wii, and if you’ve been waiting for the perfect deal, here you go: Right now Best Buy has the Super Mario Brothers Wii Console Bundle available for $150 shipped, plus you get a $20 gift card along with it. (For comparison: It’s running about $170 at Amazon right now.)
And don’t get me started, young whippersnappers, about those of us who cheerfully paid $250 for our Wiis, and we liked it. Why, I walked uphill in the snow both ways for ours. Hmph.
Baby cuteness, shipped free today
(No actual babies, though. I never can seem to find a sale on those.)
Shop at Carters or Osh Kosh B’Gosh today and your whole order—big or small—ships for free with coupon code SPRING.
Definitely worth a look if you have little ones. And you believe that paying shipping is for suckers.
As you wish
I’m sorry, but if you don’t agree that The Princess Bride is pretty much the greatest movie ever, I’m not sure we can still be friends. It’s just one of those make-or-break kinds of things. And while my husband was sensible enough to gift me with the DVD many years ago (which led to my son—still quite small at the time—running around the house declaring “My name is Inigo Montoya!”), I never did manage to grab the Blu-ray version.
But today Amazon has the two-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack available for just $12.99, which is only a buck more than the current price on just the Blu-ray. That means you can have the Blu-ray version for at home, plus you can let the DVD get mangled in the car or whatever and it’s not a problem.
Of course, if you’re not a fan of this movie, well… there’s no accounting for taste.
