I hope my kid isn’t reading this

So, we all know I need a 12-step program to help me with my addiction to Fab.com; I’m aware of my problem and I’m okay with it (mostly).

Two items of note today if you have a girly/geeky teen like mine: First, one of today’s boutiques is SockPocket socks, which is exactly what it sounds like: socks with hidden pockets. If you have a kid who does marching band like mine, this is a perfect gift (yes, they have black ones). Maybe it’s just my kid, but she is forever complaining about losing her snack bar money. Heh.

Second, this is actually a boutique from yesterday, but scroll down and check out the pendants from Brevity. This is your chance to get a price break on a hand-sculpted name pendant, and they are gorgeous. If you have a kiddo with an unusual name, you know that finding anything personalized is a huge plus, and something this beautiful will make a keepsake for her forever. (Do note that this is not something that will be ready in time for Christmas. My daughter will be getting hers for her birthday in the spring.)

If being addicted to Fab.com is wrong, I’m not sure I want to be right.

Toasty tootsies

The Holiday Blitz item over at 6pm.com today is the Sydney Mini boot in a rainbow of colors. Now: The manufacturer—Ukala by EMU Australia—is one of those “just like UGG” manufacturers, and this is, indeed, a suede boot with a sheepskin lining.

Personally, I find UGGs and their ilk all really weird looking, and this Sydney Mini is even stranger looking, I think, because they’re only ankle boots, which is… interesting-looking in a boot like this. But! At just $24.99 apiece (and in all those pretty colors), I’m thinking these would make pretty snazzy slippers for the winter, no? And because they have a real sole, you could even wear them out to the mailbox or whatever.

Not that I ever do that. Ahem.

Another Monday toy sale

I’m starting to think that every Monday is Cyber Monday in December. Not that I’m complaining, mind you.

Over at Mattel Shop today, everything is an extra 20% off and ships for free. There’s still time to get stuff before the holidays, and with the free shipping, this could be a good way to grab a few stocking stuffers, particularly if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

I… don’t quite understand the Monster High craze, but I do see that Mattel has several of the “Electrocuties” that go along with it for less than Amazon’s prices (even before the coupon). So, uh, if you need a glow-in-the-dark… um… vampire kitten (??) or something, there you go.

(Now there’s a phrase I never saw myself saying. “If you need a glow-in-the-dark vampire kitten….”)

Get your toys tonight at Bon-Ton

I don’t know how I missed this earlier today, but right now at Bon-Ton, all toys ship for free, plus you can use coupon code DECWEEK3D11 for an additional 10% off (and of course ‘most everything is already on sale).

If you’re looking for a cheap Trunki, a variety of Discovery Kids toys, or some Melissa & Doug toys, this sale is definitely worth checking out. Bonus: It looks like as long as you have any free-shipping toy in your cart, your whole order ships for free—handy if you’re picking up other stuff, too.

Littlest Pet Shop with littler prices

Could this be the start of the Amazon toys price drops…? Let’s cross our fingers!

These Littlest Pet Shop Pet Sitters sets (includes a doll, pet, and accessories) all just dropped in price to $6.99 apiece (eligible for free Prime or $25+ Super Saver Shipping):
Cub
Lady Bug
Bunny
Cat

Personally, I’m relieved my daughter has outgrown these (they’re almost as bad as LEGO when it comes to stepping on pointy pieces forgotten in the carpet), but I have to admit these sets are cute. And cheap.

I can neither confirm nor deny the rumors that I fed my Born addiction today at 6pm.com. While it’s true that the prices are up to 70% off and and a metallic tiger print clog might seem like a really good idea when you’ve been in bed sick for the last 36 hours, I am simply unable to speculate on what might’ve happened here today, because that’s between my credit card and 6pm. Er, I mean, on the advice of counsel.

(Counsel = Licorice. She said no one wants to hear about my shoes, and then she licked me. Frankly, I think she has boundary issues.)

Eddie finally caught up to Lands’ End

As much as I’ve been enjoying the St. Nick’s Picks over at Land’s End (it’s deals on short- and long-sleeved Ts for the whole family, today)—and I have—I’ve been impatiently tapping my foot, waiting for Eddie Bauer to start their 12 Days of Gifts.

They finally did! (Thanks, Lisa, for the email!) Today’s deal is half-off Cloud Layer Fleece for both men and women. Spend $49+ and you can use coupon code EBFSHIP for free shipping, too.

There’s plenty of other items on sale as well, but there’s something about that December new-deal-every-day thing that’s kind of like an Advent calendar for adults. Heh.

Quick Lightning Deal tip

Here’s something to keep in mind during this season of Lightning Deals and other promotions at Amazon: Keep an eye out for combinable discounts. Like yesterday, when the Video Game Deal of the Day discount actually combined with a B1G1 discount on certain games.

Today, in a couple of minute this 24-pack of Puffs tissues is going to come up in the Lightning Deals. Yeah, not exactly the Christmas present you were looking for, but who doesn’t need tissues? If you decide to go for it, be sure to click through to the product page before purchasing; there’s a $3 coupon available (if you are offered Amazon coupons). Just an extra discount you may be able to combine with whatever the LD price ends up being.

Pajamarama

Hey, check out today’s featured deal in the Target Daily Deals—in addition to the items they have highlighted on that page, all sleepwear is an additional 15% off and gets free shipping, today only! Of course, I lied when I said “all,” because a few fancy-schmancy designers are excluded, but it’s almost all.

And I would probably think this was a good deal even if I wasn’t blogging from bed in my pajamas.

[Edited to add: Looks like you can use coupon code TGT2TZTU for an additional $3 off one set of women’s pajamas, too; that will stack with the current promotion.]
