An almost-belated birthday perk

I wish I’d seen this earlier, but for the nighttime crowd, here you go: Today Last Call is celebrating their first birthday, and they have presents for you! There’s no purchase required to enter to win one of nine swanky gifts, but if you do decide to buy something tonight, use coupon code BDAYFUN to ship your entire order for just a dollar.

Plus, unlike most birthday parties for one-year-olds, probably no one will drool on you.

Have you been checking?

I’ve gotten completely sucked in to Rue La La lately. Today’s boutiques have me salivating, even if I won’t end up actually buying anything (as much as I’d like a $999 python satchel, haha). But I might find a little something in my price range in the Laundry sale….

Just thought I’d remind you. In case you’d forgotten they were there.

Stock up your medicine cabinet

What’s my favorite kind of deal? The kind where it’s free, of course. But my second favorite kind of deal is when I can save money on stuff I’d normally have to leave the house to buy. (You know how I hate that; the sunlight! It buuuuurns!)

This week you can celebrate Walgreens‘ anniversary with an extra $10 off your $40 purchase, using coupon code YEAR11. Most orders of $25+ ship for free, and the coupon can be used up to 3 times per account, and it works both on regular and sale prices. That means you can grab up the stuff you need anyway—for the medicine cabinet, or whatever—and save money, and get it shipped for free.

Combine it with the current buy 1, get 1 vitamin sale they’ve got going on, and there’s some serious savings to be had.

Saturday deals

Good morning! My family is roughing it this weekend—we’re camping, which means I had to turn on my wireless modem before I could get online. Truly, my dedication to y’all knows no bounds.

Let’s see what’s up today in deal-land….

This weekend you can save 25% and get free shipping at American Eagle (as well as Aerie and 77 Kids) with coupon code 42677541. They often have a percentage off or free shipping, but combining the two is a treat.

You can also save an additional 30% and get free shipping with coupon code WZH8734 at Coldwater Creek this weekend. Combine the discount with already-reduced Outlet items and they’re practically paying you to take this stuff.

If the $5 MP3 albums at Amazon are still too rich for your blood, check out today’s Gold Box—they’ve got a bunch of pop albums for just $4 apiece.

The weekend sale at Macy’s gets even better with coupon code HOTLIST to take an additional 20% off most things (15% or 10% off others). Shipping is free on your $99+ order, always.

Boots are in the spotlight (hello, Fall!) over at 6pm.com today, and it’s giving me a hankering for cooler weather. But not until we get home.

Time for me to drag take the kids hiking! Woo! Have a great day, everyone.

Black Friday in September? Why not!

Get a jump on some of the most popular toys of the season with today’s sale at Mattel—they’re having Black Friday in September! Save on tons of toys, and everything on their site ships for free, today only.

Deals vary from kinda-good to spectacular, so be sure to pay close attention to make sure you’re getting a good price. Still, hard to beat a sale and free shipping this early in the season if there’s something in particular that your kid is clamoring to have.

And I just realized my kids are too old for just about all of this. Sad!

CowBoom

Shop at CowBoom!

Through 12/1/11, use coupon code Spooky15 for $15 off your $150+ order (may not apply to the daily deal).

Come to the Mac side

I’m a Mac-head, I’ll admit it. And you know how insufferable we can be, what with our superior computers. Ahem.

Anyway, I know the barrier for a lot of folks to full-fledged Mac-love is the price. Today at CowBoom they’re having a “Mac Attack,” with all-Mac offerings in a Woot-Off style. You have to act quickly to snap up the deals, but it may be worth it—the prices are crazy. (And yes, these are refurbished machines, but even so, I’ve never seen prices like this before.)

Besides, Macs are just better. Heh.
