Hey baby, pull up a chair

If you need a high chair (or are feeling generous and want to donate one to a worthy cause, because that’s an item that’s always in demand), go take a look at this Cosco flat fold high chair over at Amazon. It’s not super-fancy or anything, but it’s a pretty nice option (and the fact that it folds flat is great for small spaces).

That product page should show it as costing $63, but if you look in the “More Buying Choices” column, you’ll see that the Into The Woods pattern is available directly from Amazon for just $28 shipped.

That’s the lowest price they’ve ever had it at, and it’s probably because that color cover is last year’s “model.” Frankly I think it’s the cutest print of the three available options, anyway, but for under $30 I don’t know that it matters. Especially when it probably costs them at least half of that price just to ship it.

Grab a couple of subs

Have you checked out Saveology yet? (Really, just staying on top of all the daily-deal sites is becoming a full time job….) If you haven’t, today’s the day to do it: For new customers only, today you can snag $10 to Subway for just $6.50, redeemable for your choice of subliciousness. (I just invented that word. But I think it has a certain ring to it.)

My teen daughter and her friends all love Subway like it’s gourmet dining. I don’t understand. But I did just make her very happy, and she doesn’t even know it yet.

Summer savings at Lands’ End

Summer’s not over yet, and over at Lands’ End they’re doing an automatic extra 30% off their sale and clearance items. That makes for a total of up to 75% on those items.

Make it even better: Combine those items with coupon code PARENTSS11 and PIN 8445 to get free shipping on any order, plus an additional $10 off your $50+ order.

I really wasn’t planning to shop today, but Lands’ End totally knows how to weaken my resolve.

It’s a camera-heavy Gold Box

Have you checked out the Amazon Gold Box today? Their featured deal is a Canon PowerShot for just $49, if you’re looking for a simple point-and-shoot to keep in your purse or get for your tween or whatever.

Also, right now the lightning deal is for a Lowepro SlingShot 100 at $33, which is a great little camera bag for the photo enthusiast who needs a camera bag that’s not a complete monster.

But you don’t need a bag for the PowerShot, just to clarify.

Smell pretty

I’m sure you smell just fine already, but if you like perfume, you may want to check out the one-day sale today at Perfumania. Today (August 16th) only, you can use coupon code BTS25 for 25% off most items. It won’t work on clearance or their August Exclusive Steals, but it’ll work on most everything else.

Orders of $35+ ship for free, too. So you’ll be smelling better without even having to pay for shipping. (Someone should totally make that scent. “Free Shipping.” I would buy it.)

Get Active again on your Wii

If you’ve been wanting to snag EA Sports Active 2 for your Wii, check out today’s Target Daily Deals. They’ve got it for just $14.99 with free shipping.

It’s still around $20 at Amazon, so not a giant savings, but that’s $5 you don’t have to spend if you were planning to get it, anyway.

Me, I’m not buying anything that claims to have “Total Body Tracking,” but we all know I have issues. Heh.

Save today at Gap

I’m almost (but not quite) to where I’m going to stop posting Gap coupons, because they have so many exclusions. You can’t use it on jeans, or baby sleepwear, or a bunch of other stuff. But if you want something that isn’t excluded (ummm… how about a shirt? I think shirts are okay!), you can use code GAPGEM for 30% off, today.

Most jeans, meanwhile, seem to be $20 off, anyway (at least in women’s). Which eases the sting of the coupon not covering them, a little. Kind of.

Book for Book is the easy way to up literacy

I completely, unabashedly love Better World Books, already. Their prices are good and they give a lot of money to worthy causes. But today they’ve launched their Book for Book initiative:

Every time you buy a book, they donate a book. I can’t think of a better excuse to shop, can you?
