Shop the Warehouse, save extra
From right now through Earth Day (April 22nd), shop the Amazon Warehouse and save even more—you can save an additional $10 off $50+ worth of items direct from Amazon (not 3rd-party sellers) when you apply coupon code EARTH10.
I know some folks have had mixed results with Warehouse items; I’ve heard occasional tell of boxes with the wrong items in them, for example, but I’ve always been pleased with my purchases. Usually it’s a pristine item in a scuffed-up box. Anyway, I’m certainly not going to pass up a chance to save an additional ten bucks, so I’m off to shop.
Are you feeling Lucky? You should be!
One of my very favorites is Lucky Brand—their jeans fit me and hold up great, their tops are that mix of classic and quirky that I love—and basically I adore everything about them except the regular retail prices. I mean, I’m sure someone is paying that, but it’s not me.
On a day like today, though, I’ll go shopping there and I won’t even feel guilty. Right now their Sale section is filled with items that come down an additional 40% when you put them in your cart, plus you can use coupon code SLCKDLSOFF75 for another $25 off your $75+ order. It looks like some shoes are automatically an additional 50% off, too.
Shipping is free on $50+, or a flat $5, otherwise. (I don’t think I’m going to have any trouble getting to $50, however….)
Ready to go camping?
I share this with the full caveat that I am emphatically not a tent camping person. I am a camping person only when that camping involves sleeping inside an actual structure, preferably on a real mattress. But my hat is off to those of you who truly enjoy sleeping inside a nylon pod on the ground.
That said, today only, this Coleman Sundome 4-person tent is currently down to an all-time-low price of just $33.15 on Amazon, as part of their Daily Deals. It averages a 4.5-star rating with over 1,700 reviews, too.
(Bear in mind that a “4-person tent” means you can stack 4 humans like cordwood or host 2 humans without them killing each other. Just a handy tip.)
Candy sale!
With Easter coming up, it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to resist a candy sale, anyway (um yes, my adult- and nearly-adult-children need Easter baskets, obviously), but this one is going to be useful to me for another reason, too.
Right now Amazon is offering an additional 25% off your qualifying $25+ candy purchase, and that means I can both get some goodies for the kids and restock for baking. (I like good-quality dark chocolate bars rather than so-called “baking chocolate” for things like flourless cakes.)
Goodies for them, goodies in the future, and I save without leaving the house. Just a few of my favorite things!
It’s time to Kohls again
Oh, we haven’t had a great combination of Kohls sales/coupons for a little while, which is weird, because Kohls is pretty much synonymous with sales and coupons. Hey, that’s fine. I’ll take it whenever it happens.
So here we go: Everyone gets $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent through April 15th, plus automatic free shipping on $75+ (shipping to your local store and picking up is always free), and through April 12th, coupon code SPRINGSAVE takes 20% off $100+ or 15% off a smaller order. If you have a Kohls charge card—which you do, right, because that’s how you get the best deals—you can use coupon code BUNNY30, instead, for 30% off any order, plus you can use code APR4FREE for free shipping on any size order.
Those percent off coupons can be stacked with department-targeted coupons, as well: STYLE10 takes $10 off your $40+ purchase in Juniors or Big Girls (7-16), PLAYTIME15 takes 15% off Melissa & Doug toys, and MENSTYLE10 takes $10 off your $50+ purchase of men’s clothing and shoes.
As always, there’s tons of great deals in the Clearance, so I start there. (Pssst, folks with kids heading off to college in the fall—this is a great time to pick up towels and other dorm-stuffs before they jack the prices up and start screaming “college prep!” this summer.)
April Beauty Boxes, no foolin’
I kept checking the Target site for an early release of this month’s beauty box, and finally figured maybe they weren’t going to have one. Well, the joke’s on me—they have two options this month (even if we weren’t able to snag ’em early).
Choose from the regular April Beauty Box or the April Naturals Beauty Box.
Both are $24 worth of products for just $7, and while the first box has a full-size Sally Hanson Double Duty top/base coat (easily worth $7 on its own), the second one appeals to my crunchy hippie side. Heck, who am I kidding? I’m going to get them both.
Get Sneaky (right now)
Oh! One of my very favorite things is available on Lightning Deal at Amazon right now and you should go get it.
Sneaky Cards are a deck of 55 “dares” which can be distributed on the sly to just about anyone, anywhere. It’s a great “pay it forward” way to evoke gratitude, silliness, and/or daring. My kids love these, and so do I. The list price is $10, and the Lightning Deal has them available for just $7.
I’m snapping up a deck to leave with my newest college kid when we drop him off in August. *sniffle*
Up to 92% off? I’m there!
Some deals are easy—something like “this item is now marked down this much, go get it.”
Others require a bit more work, but they can pay off big if you have the time. This is one of those times: Right now Sierra Trading Post has taken a new round of markdowns in their Clearance, with discounts all the way up to 92% off, but most in the 60%-80% range (still nothing to sneeze at). You can also use coupon code ETJXR0317 to get free shipping on any size order.
If you haven’t shopped STP before, they specialize in outdoorsy kinds of clothing and gear, but you needn’t assume that’s all they have. I’ve gotten some super cute clothing for my kids there, housewares, and often really good deals on pet supplies, too. They have a little of everything. If you have the time to dig around a little, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Crock on the go!
If you know me, you know I am an absolute fool for slow cookers. Sure, everyone else has moved on to the Insta-Pot craze, but I’m just over here with my 5 slow cookers, still enjoying making my house smell good all day. Anyway, I just saw this and in addition to feeding my crock pot addiction, it made me *squee* just a little bit because 1) holy good deal and 2) so cute!
Check it out: the online Crock-Pot Store is running a special where you can buy three of their adorable lunch warmers for $30 (that’s half off) and you’ll get free shipping. (Also, for reference: Still $20-$28 apiece at Amazon, and averaging 4.5 stars with over 1,600 reviews!)
Hey, we’re a family of four. Is this perfect for my husband’s office, and my kids’ dorms? Yup. Guess who’ll be getting personal warmers for Christmas? That’s right—everyone! (Your family might not need three of these? I think this would be a really cool teacher gift, too.) At $10/pop I can’t resist, and I also love that they can each get their own color. I am all over this one.
Score some Reebok deals
For a limited time, go visit the Reebok Outlet online and use coupon code XY7-TWH-N6G for 50% off and free shipping!
Sizes and selection are limited, but if you can find something you want, it’s a heck of a deal. (For once, I’m thrilled my kid wears a relatively small shoe.)
