Keep him happy, too

Sure, I’d be happy to do nothing but shop for clothes and pretty shoes and maybe a few toys, today, but for the guy in your life (or—sorry, gentlemen readers, I love you too!—maybe you are a guy), you need something a little more… manly.

No problem! Both Lowes and Home Depot have their Black Friday deals available online. Many items have free shipping, but again, ship-to-store is often an option to save, if it isn’t.

Shop the Shack for deals

Savvy Want Not shopper Randi emailed to let me know that Radio Shack has some really excellent Black Friday deals online right now. Many of them have free shipping, but keep in mind there’s a ship-to-store option if you want something that doesn’t ship for free and you don’t want to pay extra.

I’m seeing quite a few tech-y kids’ toys marked wayyyyy down, among other things. Thanks, Randi!

Luggage, anyone? How about a snowblower?

Today’s Deal of the Day at Sears is a 4-piece luggage set for just $40. Not a bad way to scoop up a set if you’re in the market for one.

Eagle-eyed Want Not reader Chris reports that he just got a smokin’ deal on a snowblower at Sears, too. Get both deals and you can… clear the driveway so you can leave on your trip. Or something.

Coupon code SANTA is working for free shipping on all sorts of things at Sears today, too, though there’s a purchase threshold for it depending on what you’re buying. See the site for details.

Aww, yeah—get a DS Lite for $80

Okay, this is not the deal for you if you want the latest/greatest Nintendo, but it is the deal if you just want a console and don’t need a camera and internet.

(And this is what I’m talkin’ about with Amazon, today. Lurve Amazon.)

Get the Seattle Mariners DS Lite (yeah, it has a logo on it; buy a case if you don’t care for it) for just $80 shipped. Again, note: This is not a DSi (the latest model). But it is a Nintendo DS and works with all the games.

This is a great way to pick up a DS console on the cheap if you’re not terribly picky.

Black Friday at Amazon

Today is going to be a fabulous day to keep your eye on Amazon.

For one thing, they’re running Black Friday Lightning Deals galore, with multiple new deals coming up at various staggered intervals to make me insane maximize your savings opportunities. Ahem. Like, the last batch just popped up, now we wait an hour until the next one. But later there will be some deals staggered every 15 minutes. Lots of deals, is the point.

Furthermore, there’s going to be deals sprinkled in amongst the regular inventory as Amazon price-matches some of the bigger publicized deals for today. For example: Need an awesome laptop? Check out this Asus A52F-XE2 15.6-Inch Entertainment Laptop for just $500. That’s pretty much the most oomph you’re going to find at that price, and I’m guessing it won’t last for long.

A few suggestions to get your clothing savings on

Alrighty, then. I’ve got my coffee, so let’s really get ready to rumble.

Get 40% off your purchase today at Express; discount automatically appears in-cart.

Get 50% off your purchase today at New York and Company with coupon code 1529.

Get 40% off everything and 50% off sweaters, jeans and cords today at Justice with coupon code 720.

6pm.com is not only pulling out all the stops for Black Friday—today’s deals include things like 80% off of Converse!—but they’re doing a feature with a new $24 item every hour. Love. (Don’t forget—right now they have free shipping on your $100+ order, too.)

Not a bad start to the day….

A little warm-up to tomorrow

My kids have outgrown Gymboree, but maybe yours are still little and cute and think you’re smart. (Okay, the thinking you’re smart thing isn’t necessary to dress them in Gymboree; I just miss the days when my kids still believed I knew everything.)

Regardless, the Black Friday deals are already on at Gymboree online, with goodies like puffer jackets for under $18 and total savings on some items reaching 70% off. Spend over $100 and the shipping is free.

And don’t forget to enjoy this time—soon enough, your kid(s) will be begging for Hollister clothes and convinced you’re the dumbest person on the planet. Trust me.
