I might need those pajamas

Honestly, I’ve felt like the Target Daily Deals have been a little lackluster, lately, but I have to say that those Paul Frank skull jammies for half off intrigue me a little. Just because they make me laugh.

Of course, the more mature, adult purchase would be the patio propane heater. But that’s a lot more expensive and doesn’t make me giggle. So.

Code TGTREACT for an additional 15% off may or may not still be working—turns out that it’s a one-time-use per account, so the reason I couldn’t get it to work the other day was that I’d already used it. Oops! Alternatively, click through this link to activate an extra $5 off your $50+ order. Shipping on the Daily Deals is always free, remember.

Go get sporty or something

I always feel a bit like an imposter, posting deals on sporting goods. Because I have no idea; we are not a terribly sporting family (er, meaning we don’t play sports, not meaning we’re not good-natured), and my personal shopping for sports gear ended with tiny tiny shinguards years ago, back when my youngest took his tour through amoebaball soccer with the rest of the lemmings little kids. So take this with a grain of salt, I guess.

Nonetheless, Footlocker appears to have lots of pretty (sporty!) shoes and fan gear and the like, so even a couch potato like me can shop there. And shop there I will, because through May 24th, coupon code EMFLT594 takes 30% off your purchase.

Sadly, exclusions apply. I went straight for the Reeboks that are supposed to tone your legs and of course, it can’t be used on those. Hmph.

There’s still time

If you didn’t take advantage of this deal when I first mentioned it, it’s just been extended: Drugstore.com is offering free shipping to everyone on orders of $25, plus you’ll get a $25 Restaurant.com certificate with your order! You now have through the end of the month to take advantage of this deal, and it can only be used once per account.

Not sure what you might need? Why not check out their 70% off summer essentials section?

Though I have to say, I don’t see margaritas in there anywhere, so I don’t think it’s a very comprehensive assortment. Ahem.

And another way to save food

On the last post, Emily was kind enough to point out that the much-loved Rubbermaid 8-piece Produce Saver Set is back down to under $10 at Amazon.

This is confusing to me, because the produce savers work by allowing air to circulate around your food, while the FoodSaver product in the previous post works by taking the air away from your food. Yet they both work. Huh.

That sound you just heard was my head exploding.

Air is bad, you know

I know, I’m talking all crazy! Air is good! Well, yes. Air is good for us. To breathe. It turns out that air in your food leads to decay, so when you’re talking about food, air = bad.

Today (May 19th, 2010) only, you can buy the FoodSaver FreshSaver Handheld Vacuum System for 70% off the usual price. And it’s exactly what it sounds like—a little vacuum doohickey designed to work with these other components and remove the air from your food containers, to keep your food fresher for longer.

The kit includes the vacuum, charging stand, two plastic deli containers, and 10 bags. It’s normally $29.99, but use coupon code E0FV70FS today and that’ll knock it down to $9, so even after paying shipping you’re still getting it for around $15 (half the regular price).

If you’ve ever known the heartbreak of throwing away perfectly good food because your family didn’t eat it quickly enough, this may be worth checking out. Trust me, watching all the air get sucked out is even more satisfying than the Tupperware “burp.” (Okay, in writing that, I realized I’m maybe a little too invested in food storage.)

More shoes for my friends

Today is turning out to be pretty shoetastic. I don’t know why. Clearly it’s a sign.

Anyway, today and tomorrow, shop at Endless and you can take 20% off your $100+ order with coupon code MYFRIEND. It clearly has a few brand limitations, because I couldn’t get it to work on everything, but it does seem to work on most stuff.

Free shipping and free returns, too, of course.

Like a Glee freak

Are you a Glee fan? Somehow I have managed not to start watching it, which is kind of amazing when you consider what a choir geek I was in high school, myself. (True story.) I keep meaning to start, but life keeps getting in the way.

Anyway. I hear the Madonna episode was amazing. And lookie here—today’s featured Daily Deal at Barnes and Noble is the “The Power of Madonna” Glee CD for just $5.99!

Shipping is free on your $25+ order, and coupon code Y8H7P3C should give you 10% off one item in your order, as well.

And just so we’re clear: I am not responsible for what happens if you buy this CD. You rock out in your car and get funny looks from other drivers or your kids beg you to stop singing, that’s all you.

Do I have to pick one?

For a change of pace, today, I thought I’d post a shoe deal at Piperlime. They’re having their “Sweet Deals” sale, which means 30% off some of the hottest styles, and I don’t want you to think that I only ever look at shoes at 6pm.com. I am an equal opportunity shoe deal addict!

But, uh, as long as we’re talking about 6pm…? They have Danskos 60% off today. I’m just sayin’.

Decisions, decisions….
