Got Paypal? Save $30 today!
If you have Paypal, hop on over to Rakuten to see if there’s anything you need there today. Sure, they’re having a Black Friday sale, but better still, spend $100+ and pay via Paypal and you can use coupon code PAYPALBF30 to take $30 off your total!
If you like to stuff stockings with iTunes cards, search on itunes 25 to find a 4-pack of $25 cards, then get ’em for just $70. If you have a FitBit on your shopping list, those are a pretty good deal with the code, as well.
The code is one-time use per account, so choose carefully. (I’m going with the iTunes, myself.)
Jurassic-tastic
If you (or someone on your list) love the Jurassic Park movies, I’ve got the perfect gift deal for you—Amazon has this 6-disc Jurassic Park Collection Blu-ray set for just $24.99, today. (Needless to say, this is its lowest price ever, by quite a bit.)
Also, if you have teens and they haven’t seen this Vine, probably you don’t want to show it to them. My teens now sing this at me all the time. (If you don’t have teens, it probably won’t make any sense. Not that it makes any real sense if you do, but, well, you know.)
Sorry about the Vine. You’re welcome for the deal.
Happy Black Friday! Open these pages now!
Goooooood morning! It’s too early to be up, but here I am, anyway.
I’ll be here scoping out the deals all day, but I thought we’d kick it off with me sharing what I’ll be watching all day, today—these are the deals that’ll go so quickly, if you’re not there when they pop up, you’ll likely miss ’em.
First and foremost, there’s always the Amazon Lightning Deals. They’re a mixed bag, so do your price-checking—sometimes they’re great, sometimes not—but I’ve already snagged a few things this week and am hopeful for today.
Second, there’s a Woot-Off happening, of course. Keep a window tuned to Woot and its sister-sites (Home.Woot, Electronics.Woot, Computers.Woot, Tools.Woot, Sport.WootKids.Woot, and Wine.Woot) all day today for rotating deals, and don’t forget that a single $5 shipping fee covers you on all orders until mid-December.
Third, they’re not only doing a mystery deal every hour at 6pm.com (scroll down the page to find the link), they’re offering a nearly unprecedented coupon for the day—code BLACKFRI15 takes an extra 15% off everything! Awesome.
It’s going to be a fun day….
Book deals (and a set for budding geeks)
Hooray, Amazon has brought back their 30%-off-nearly-any-book promo again this season—use coupon code HOLIDAY30 to save 30% (up to a max of $10) off a qualifying book or book set.
May I suggest this pinnacle of geekery: They have the Little Golden Book Library: Star Wars set for just $18.20 at the moment, which is already its lowest price ever, and with the code it comes down to just $12.74 for 6 books. (Let the force awaken in your preschooler, yo.)
I’m off to survey my Wish List and decide which book I’m going to use the promo on today. Decisions, decisions!!
Toys, toys, toys
Ready to do some hunting around on Amazon? “Qualifying toys” (which ones? you’ll just have to look) are now eligible for an additional 20% off with coupon code AMZNTOYS at checkout. The best deals, of course, come when you find something already deeply discounted and/or on Lightning Deal which qualifies.
For example, is this the cutest vintage kiddie kitchen or what? Right now it’s marked down to just $110 in white, so with the coupon code it’s just $88 shipped. That’s as low as it’s every gone, and a darn good deal for a solid wood play set.
Of course, I firmly believe every small child needs a kitchen play space, because I have very fond memories of my own little ones bringing me “delicious sandwiches” of things like plastic bacon, pie, and LEGO on a waffle. Good times.
If you’re waiting for an Apple deal…
… check out the Black Friday deals available today at Target online.
Sure, there’s about a hundred deals in there, but it’s the Apple Watch deal that’s the biggie—choose your model, and get a $100 gift card with purchase. Want an iPad, instead? Those come with $100 gift cards, too, and iPad Minis come with $80 gift cards. You’re going to keep shopping at Target anyway, right? Exactly.
There’s plenty of hot toys marked down, too, and you can take an additional 20% off those with coupon code TOYS. That way you get toys for you and toys for the kids.
Electronics deals? Boom!
CowBoom, that is.
They’ve started Black Friday early, so you can shop now and use coupon code YESPLEASE2015 for 20% off your purchase. It doesn’t work on the Deal of the Day, auctions, or items shipped by Best Buy, but that still leaves a huge assortment of new and pre-owned electronics from which to choose.
We’ve purchased several used items from CowBoom and I have yet to be disappointed. This is probably not going to be your first stop if you need something brand-spankin’-new, but if you’re willing to do a refurb and don’t necessarily need the latest-and-greatest model of iPod or camera or whatever, it’s a fabulous place to get a deal even before the coupon. With the coupon, you could score big.
Today’s fleecy deal at Lands’ End
What’s today’s deal over at Lands’ End? I’m so glad you asked—it’s 50% off fleece for the entire family, when you use coupon code FAMILY with PIN 2525.
That means tops, bottoms, accessories, coats; you name it, if it’s fleece, you can get it for half off. (And some of it is already marked down, pre-coupon.)
Don’t need any fleece? That’s okay—the code will also knock 30% off everything else.
Hi, my name is Mir, and I am a sucker for a sale at Lands’ End.
It’s already Friday at Rockport
If you love all things Rockport, you may be hoping for a sale this Friday. Turns out, you don’t have to wait until Friday… you just have to have the secret sale link. (*insert evil laugh here*)
Here you go. Shop through that there link right now and just about all men’s and women’s shoes are 40% off and you’ll get free shipping on any order. (Unfortunately, it doesn’t take another 40% off items already discounted, but if you’re pining after a style that never goes on sale, this is your chance. I think the verbiage on the site is confusing—it says it includes sale items, but I think they mean for free shipping.)
Anyway, maybe someone will find it useful. There’s some socks on sale, too—those would be easy enough to pick up while the shipping’s free.
Pajamarama, just in time
Whether you do matching family jammies for the holidays or have just been saying to yourself, “Self, what I really need for a good night’s sleep is a whimsical set of Darth Vader pajamas,” Target has you covered. They’re doing 10 Days of Deals, and today (Day 3, for them) is 40% off sleepwear for the whole family with coupon code SLEEP.
That means cheap holiday-themed jammies, adult-sized Chewbacca union suits, or minion-wear. There are Hanukkah robes for the whole family. Whatever you want—f they have it in the sleepwear section, you can get it for 40% off (and most of it is already on sale). Shipping is free on any size order, too.
Oh, man. I—er, I mean, the elves—have already procured this year’s Christmas Eve jammies for the kids. But… but… you can never have too many jammies, right? Right.
