Hey, did you know that for Labor Day The Children’s Place has marked everything in the Outlet down an additional 25%? Did you know that you can use coupon code FMR77 for another 25% off on top of that?
Well, now you do.

I want nothing more than to sit down and go through the Amazon Friday Sale, but I suppose I should get these kids of mine fed and packed off to school, first. Feel free to do some surfing on your own, or sit tight and I’ll be back with highlights in a bit.
Okay, I’m back. (Through the magic of technology, I’ll bet you didn’t even know I was gone!)
I see that Brigitte already has her eye on this cock trap
, and I don’t really know how to tell her that I don’t think it’s quite what she thinks it is. (But if it’s any consolation, I’m guessing you could probably do something dirty with this bike stand
. Just sayin’.)
Warning: Don’t wear this t-shirt
to work. (Unless you’re self-employed, Like me. I could wear it, I guess. In which case… hey!)
You almost never see Chacos sandals
discounted like this. (If you’re unfamiliar, Chacos have excellent arch support, which is unusual in a sandal. Good for people with foot problems.) If you like those (and pay attention, because only some colors are on sale), I’d urge you to buy them from Zappos
and do a price match. You’ll save a little more, and have free returns if you need ‘em.
The other moms at the PTA will make fun of me if I tool around on a big tricycle
, right? Oh well. Maybe in thirty years.
Pardon me, as I haven’t said this in a while and I’m a bit excited. But: SCOOBA
!!
A luxury palace for your ferrets
. No, really. (And here’s one for your dog
, too.)
I’ve been wanting to try bamboo towels
ever since I heard of them, and here they are at a great price. (Get your eco-friendly warm fuzzies and save some dough. Awesome.)
Ooooh, my favorite sheets
are on sale again. Where else can you get 600 thread count king sets for under $30? Nowhere, that’s where.
I am both fascinated and horrified by these pillows
. Do I want gel inside my pillows? I do not know.
Two words: gift closet
.
I love this breakfast set
, partly because it ships free, partly because it’s made my “Winsome Wood” and only a little because of the actual item.
Alright, I’m tapped. Happy shopping and stay safe this holiday weekend. (That means don’t got all hopped up on hamburgers and accidentally pay full price for something, yo.)

I love this place, high prices aside. But when it’s clearance time, I’m all over it. Check out The Company Store for Labor Day clearance, and don’t forget to click through to Company Kids for more of those great bargains on adorable stuff for the little ones.
I may or may not have just run upstairs to measure my daughter’s window for curtains. I plead the fifth.

I’ve gotten emails from a lot of you about the Barnes & Noble Paypal deal that I posted last week. I don’t know whether to be flattered that y’all want to make sure I know about this great deal or offended that somehow I posted it but apparently none of you saw it. Heh. Regardless, please do go back to the original post to read the details if you like; the bottom line is that you can go buy $40+ worth of books at Barnes & Noble and take $10 off if you pay via Paypal and use coupon code D9U3D3W. It’s a great deal.
It would be an even better deal if I could find that misplaced gift card I know I have around here, somewhere. Have you seen it?

… you bought the table saw from the other day—or you or someone you love (maybe someone you live with who doesn’t always put their dirty socks in the hamper, even) enjoys woodworking—here’s a free subscription to Woodcraft Magazine for you.
(I’ve done magazines through this site before with no problems at all, and they always come.)

Okay, I actually have no idea if it’s their birthday (probably not), I just feel the need to chant and cheer a bit when it comes to a Woot-Off.
All day today until they decide to stop, it’s a new item every, um, I think fifteen minutes or so.
Although I do think it’s only fair to mention that the last thing I bought from Woot disappeared in Kansas (so saith FedEx). That might not be Woot’s fault. I still love Woot. But if anyone sees that USB wireless dongle on sale today, shoot me an email. They can’t lose another one in Kansas, right? Right?? Oh, be quiet.

I jumped on this one so fast I’m surprised I didn’t knock the keys off the keyboard.
Do your kids love those stupid boxes of animal crackers? I mean, you can buy animal crackers in bigger bags to save the money, but don’t they just love the little zoo boxes the best? The ones I refuse to buy because they cost like a buck a box?
Check it out: Buy two cases of Barnum animal crackers
(currently priced at $15 each) and then use coupon code ANIMAL34 to take $15 off. (Deal expires on August 31st, 2007.)
Two cases for $15 shipped. That’s 48 boxes of cookies that are called crackers so that we don’t have to feel guilty about giving them to our kids. It’s magic in a box, people!

Oooooh, more Labor Day sales! And it’s only Wednesday!
(Meanwhile, I have about five days’ worth of work to cram into a single day, here, and am wondering how I’m going to manage that…. But don’t worry about me! You go shop!)
Over at Macy’s, take an extra 25% off all clearance prices
. The discount is good through September 7th, 2007, but Macy’s is notorious for selling out of the deeply discounted stuff early on, so go take a look soon if you’re so inclined.

I don’t know anything about this place, but apparently if you go register over at Spiralfrog they’ll give you a free 30-day trial of their music downloading service.
Note that it requires Windows XP or Vista to work, which probably means it’s a kludgy Windows disaster, but hey, free is free.

My knowledge of tools pretty much ends with “hammers are for hitting things” and “butter knives make lousy screwdrivers,” but people smarter than I am say that this Makita table saw
—which is marked down to $129, with a $70 shipping charge—is a phenomenal deal. Amazon claims the original price is $578, which as we all know is probably a bit inflated, but the cheapest I could find it anywhere else was about $315.
Not a good candidate for an impulse purchase, obviously, but if you’ve been looking for one, this is a nice deal.
