Be a Band Hero while I cry in the corner

So a few weeks ago I may have been positively elated to pick up the Wii Taylor Swift Band Hero bundle on a Lightning Deal from Amazon for just around $90. Look at me go, I thought! What a deal!

Right now Buy.com has the very same Band Hero bundle for just $58 shipped. Yeah. Kicking myself. Hard. [Edited to add: I take back my kicking, because this is just for the Xbox and PS2 versions. Now I am just kicking myself for not reading carefully. Carry on.]

This a great way to pick up instruments even if you don’t want Band Hero, but want, say, to be able to play Lego Rock Band. Just sayin’.

  1. That price seems to only be for the PS3 and Xbox?

  2. Oh wow. I am clearly sleep-deprived, but the good news is that I feel less like I missed a deal, now. Hahaha.

  3. You can play Lego Rock Band with Band Hero instruments?

  4. Yep! The drums and guitar will work—I did some research. For, um, Santa. He wanted to know. 😉

  5. Yay! My cousin has an XBox with Kinect and my 3 and 6 year old spent Thanksgiving afternoon playing it. Yes, it looks at you, but I don’t know what made me laugh harder, the room full of grown ups screaming “Run, run, run, run, jump! JUUUUMMMP!!!!” at my boys over and over or watching my 6 year old’s avatar take hurdles in the track and field game while flapping his arms like he was going to acheive liftoff since my son can’t jump during the game without throwing his arms everywhere. My mom was so entertained that she’s planning to buy the boys the system for Christmas so I was super excited to pick up this bundle for our new XBox. Thanks Mir!!!

  6. Can you play rock band with the same instruments? 🙂

  7. Tara, these instruments should work for all the Rock Band stuff.
