The last ladder you’ll ever need

Here’s one for the do-it-yourself-ers out there: Right now Amazon has the Werner 22-foot 300-lb capacity Multi-Ladder available for just $159 shipped. That’s not only a good $100 cheaper than it’s being sold anywhere else, the free shipping on a 42-pound item isn’t too shabby, either.

Looking at all the different ways you can configure this baby kind of makes me want to start declaring, “It slices! It dices! It makes perfect julienned fries every time!” Basically, with this one ladder, you have a stepladder, extension ladder, scaffolding—pretty much anything you might need. The fact that you can configure it to work on stairs is pretty sweet (and something I wish I’d had the last time we painted).

And sure, you may be buried in snow now, but come Spring you might be glad you had the foresight to order ahead. I have it on good authority that the rain gutters don’t clean themselves.

  1. It comes up $209 when I go there.

  2. Me too…

  3. me three…

  4. Harumph, Amazon price-change monkeys…. 😛

  5. I own the 17′ version… got it thru Home Depot when they “specialed” it for just under 100. Worth every penny, and is big enough for every job I could throw at it in my single floor w/ attic space home.

  6. Back down to $159 now — I just bought one. Woo hoo! Hooray for bargains on stuff we need! (Though sadly, because in live in Washington state, I have to pay an extra $15 in sales tax …)

  7. Sweet! We were going to settle for the 17′ model when the 22′ price went up, but now the 22′ is back to Mir’s stated price! Awesome 🙂

  8. My husband has this ladder, and it’s been all that and a bag of chips. Super helpful when we painted the living room with it’s cathedral ceilings. I have a picture of said husband up near the super high ceiling painting on this ladder, but even the picture makes me weak kneed, thinking how high up he was.
