All hail Friday

This felt like kind of a long week, which I realize is doubly silly because Monday was a holiday. I can’t explain it. I can only look for deals to soothe my weary soul, or something. (It’s hard to be poetic this early in the morning.)

The Amazon Friday Sale continues to be mostly coffee. I keep hoping they’ll stop doing that. (But, hey, if you own a Keurig, Friday’s totally your day.) If you have a toddler, check out the Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts in mixed berry, peach, and strawberry—each case of 8 packages is marked down to $21, but when you combine buying via Subscribe & Save with coupon code GERBR434, they come to $14.70 shipped, or about $1.84/package.

Don’t forget to check out Amazon’s new crop of $5 MP3 albums for June—it’s a great way to pump up your music collection without spending a lot of money.

Also—in case you missed it last time, or are now thinking “Hey, that’d be great for Father’s Day—National Geographic is still just $15 at Amazon for a year’s subscription.

Elsewhere! Did you know it’s time to redeem your Kohls Cash at Kohls? Thank goodness they’re having a sale! (Heh.) Right now shipping is just $.99/item, and everyone can use coupon code SAVE15JUNE for an additional 15% off.

Are pillow pets still a… thing? (We missed this craze, because my kids are older.) If they are, you might want to check out today’s Kids.Woot, because they’ve got ’em for just $10 plus $5 shipping (though the shipping will stay the same even if you buy multiples). My understanding is that this is quite a bit cheaper than the regular overinflated price.

Need shoes for the kids? It’s BOGO time at Payless, where when you buy one, the second is half price. Combine that with 20% off coupon code 47028 for some smokin’ deals while you’re stocking up. Shipping to your local store is free.

I’m off to search for coffee. Too bad the Amazon Friday Sale doesn’t come to my house and make it for me, huh?

  1. Those aren’t Pillow Pets at kids.woot today. Something else from the Pillow Pet brand, perhaps, but not Pillow Pets.

Trust me. My kids are 5 and 7 and I *know* from Pillow Pets! 🙂

  2. Shopping is just $.99/item at Kohls? Now that’s my kind of sale!

Sorry, didn’t mean to be a smart@$$… well, actually I guess I did. Sometimes it just slips out.

  3. anyone know if kohl’s usually runs same sales in store?
I want a picture frames that are 50% off on line and i want to use expired kohl’s cash, which i can’t online,,,,,,,, so may truck into store to save $10, or maybe not 🙂

  4. Dang, memorial day was only last weekend? Feels like ages ago.

  5. What’s this MyHabit thing Amazon just emailed me about? The email included a $10 off code – is that only for clothing or anything on Amazon? I turn to you oh pretty Mir to explain what this means to me.

  6. MyHabit is Amazon’s version of a Rue La La—daily “boutiques” with discounted designer duds. So far I’ve been unimpressed, as most of it’s been very high-end. But I’m keeping an eye on it.
