Foods you never thought of

True, before I had children, I never imagined I’d be buying something called “fruit rope,” nor did it occur to me that such a thing might be delicious. But we all know that parenthood has a way of changing your perspective. Heh.

Right now Amazon has this 24-pack of Clif Kid Organic Twisted Fruit Ropes available for just $11.39 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save, or around $.47/each. They’re made with all-natural everything, and my kids pretty much think they’re candy. I have yet to get that sort of response from, say, an actual apple.

  1. I’m all over this! Thank you, Mir 🙂

  2. My kids love these things.

    Thanks Mir!

  3. Not doing the s&s -but at 41% off ( and free shpg) I still ordered-love these f/the kids. TY, lovely Mir!!

  4. How does the pricing work, over time? Do I have to watch that the price doesn’t go up too much? I now have two subscriptions, and it’s going well.

  5. Anna, pricing at Amazon appears to be modulated by drunken monkeys. There is no way to tell which direction a price will go, really.

There is no obligation when you buy via Subscribe & Save; you can cancel your subscription immediately, if you like. I always buy groceries via S&S (to get the extra savings and free shipping), then cancel. And for some items I do this over and over. I’m more comfortable with that than possibly overpaying next time if they raise the price.
