Here’s two grocery deals I spotted at Amazon this morning while I was trying to decide what to have for breakfast. (Oh, like you’ve never done that.)
Get 12 boxes of organic macaroni and cheese for just $12 (a 67% savings).
Or—because who wants mac and cheese for breakfast—choose from a variety of all-natural granolas at $12 for 6 pouches (a 43% savings).
Maybe you make all this stuff yourself, from scratch, and don’t need these deals. If that’s the case, I commend you. Also, I’m available for adoption, because I want you to be my mommy.
I can’t adopt you because my house is too small, but I could teach you how to make awesome macaroni and cheese, and terrific granola. Maybe I’ll post some recipes.

You know how to make granola? I’d love to learn. I could make it — oh, in June, when I have time again.
Granola is so incredibly easy to make; we make it in our RV. Get a 400gm bag of avena instanteo (quick oats; get it in bulk in the US and eye how much you need) and some uva pasa (rasins) and whatever floats your boat to add. Put it all in a big bowl. Add a small can of condensed milk (in the US you can get it organic and lowfat). Stir. Put on a sheet with parchment paper. If the mix is too dry add olive oil. Bake at 300ish for 20min or less or more. It is SO easy and if you press the mixture down instead of seperate it you can make granola bars.
Also, use brown rice syrup (can’t get it in Mexico) instead of the condensed milk for a healthier treat.

NYT Crunchy Granola recipe:
6 cups rolled oats (not quick-cooking or instant)
2 cups mixed nuts and seeds: sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, chopped walnuts, pecans, almonds or cashews.
1 cup dried unsweetened shredded coconut, optional
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
Dash salt
½ to 1 cup honey or maple syrup, or to taste
1 cup raisins or chopped dried fruit, optional.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine oats, nuts and seeds, coconut, cinnamon, salt and sweetener. Place on a sheet pan and put in oven. Bake for 30 minutes or a little longer, stirring occasionally. Mixture should brown evenly; the browner it gets without burning, the crunchier the granola will be.
2. Remove pan from oven and add raisins or dried fruit. Cool on a rack, stirring once in a while until granola reaches room temperature. Transfer to a sealed container and store in refrigerator; it will keep indefinitely.
Yield: About 8 cups (at least 16 servings).
