Still searching for a 3DS?

One assumes that most folks seeking a killer deal on a Nintendo 3DS console have already jumped into the pre-holiday fray and found a solution months ago, but who knows. Maybe you were wondering if you might find a deal before next Christmas, or maybe you just didn’t want one, before.

Either way, right now there’s an available Groupon for a $99 refurbished 3DS console, which makes it even cheaper than getting a refurb direct from Nintendo. (And this is a manufacturer-refurbished offering.) You still get a 1-year warranty, so really, it’s just like buying new… minus about 40% of the usual cost!

Last day for huge savings at Children’s Place

It feels like this sale has been going on for a while (longest Memorial Day ever!), but nonetheless, if you haven’t gotten over to Children’s Place yet, get going. Shipping is free on every order, and coupon code ONLINE3 is taking an additional 40% off of everything.

Combine that with the sales they’re already running, and they’re practically giving you stuff for free.

Time for toy deals

This one is mostly LEGO deals, with some Nerf items thrown in (how does Amazon decide these things??), but right now at Amazon there’s a group of Buy One, Get The Second 40% off Toys available where you could scoop up some decent deals. Some of the toys are already marked down, so when you combine it with the additional 40% off offered here, well, you could have Christmas taken care of before we hit summer, maybe.

I’ll just be over here sniffling a little. Kind of missing the “I want all the LEGO!” days. But if anyone is interested in a couple of “Could you just get me some iTunes credit?” teens, hit me up.

Even deeper discounts at BCBG

I didn’t even realize that BCBG had an online store, but just about anything I own that my daughter regularly tries to sneak off into her own wardrobe is BCBG, so that’s how I know it’s cool. (However, just stating that drastically reduces its coolness. I know.)

Anyway! They not only have a ton of stuff in their sale section, today coupon code WOWGEN50 takes an additional 50% off of just about everything, plus shipping is free on any order.

(If you have teens or other young ladies in your life, they have some great jewelry deals that are crazy cheap with this code.)

Happy Memorial Day (sales)!

First of all, thanks to all who have served or are currently serving our country. I know this day ends up being more about burgers than real human sacrifice for our freedoms, a lot of the time, so I just wanted to say thank you up front.

Second, if you’re looking for sales (as weird and incongruous as it is that this day has become a time to score deals…), here you go:

Guys need some snazzy clothes? Jos. A. Bank has just about everything deeply discounted today, plus there’s free shipping on any size order.

It’s a sale-a-palooza over at Macy’s, with code MEMDAY25 taking an additional $10 off $25+, or code MEMDAY taking up to 20% off (depending on department) your whole order. Free shipping at $99+ for everyone (and remember you can make returns at your local store), plus deals galore.

Over at Bon-Ton it’s a similar sale, except they’re offering free shipping on every order with coupon code FREESHIP and code MEMORIAL30D gives you an additional 30% off most everything (yellow dot clearance—but not regular clearance—is excluded).

Never let it be said that 6pm.com misses a chance for a sale—they’ve got tons of markdowns for Memorial Day in every department.

That should get you started. Enjoy the day!

Be preppy for less

In general I find J.Crew a bit rich for my blood, but sometimes you can score something great on sale. Now’s a good time to shop—all Sale items are an additional 30% off with coupon code PACKME, plus it looks like all swimwear has automatic free shipping.

If that’s still a bit much for your budget, it looks like there’s a bunch of new items in the clearance over in the Factory Outlet, too.

Monday just got way better

It’s a rainy Monday here, and I’m not going to lie—the temptation to stay in bed was strong. Fortunately for me, there was coffee brewing when I woke up, and then the added bonus of a Woot-Off once I got to my computer. Hooray!

They’re Wooting off all day at Woot, Home.Woot, Tools.Woot, Sport.Woot, Kids.Woot, and (of course) Wine.Woot.

If this is your first Woot-Off, welcome! Products will rotate through all day at a rate of anywhere from just a few seconds apiece to half an hour, depending on the demand and supply for any given deal. Woot-Offs are perfect times to snap up an insane bargain on something, but it does require some monitoring.

Shipping is a flat $5 per order. The feeling that comes with snagging a crazy Woot deal, however, is priceless.

The Nether’s on sale

If you have a Minecraft freak in your house, chances are excellent that you went ahead and bought the LEGO Minecraft The Nether microworld set back before Christmas, when it first came out.

But maybe you didn’t, or maybe you know someone else who’d really love one. If so, it’s down to $28.35 at Amazon (only 19% off retail, but the lowest it’s been so far). I paid full retail for all three Minecraft sets, so I’ll just be over here feeling a little jealous.

It’s been a while since we last Kohls-ed

There’s all manner of sales going on right now at Kohls, mostly because there’s always sales going on Kohls. But today everyone gets $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent, and everyone gets automatic free shipping on $75+.

Have a Kohls charge card? You can use coupon code SHIPPINGMVC for free shipping on any size order, plus code SAVENOW30 for an additional 30% off. No Kohls card? You can still use coupon code CELEBRATE for an additional 15% off nearly everything.

I just realized that Kohls carries up to size 20 in their Boys department, which means I just scored some very cool, very discounted Tony Hawk hoodies for my manchild. (Much cheaper than buying Men’s smalls!)

Pro tip: Don’t order nearly $50 worth of stuff, realize it after submitting (nooooo! Kohls Cash!), and then call customer service to try to add another item to your order to get the Kohls Cash. They will offer to cancel and let you reorder, and that’s a great idea except that if you were shopping the clearance you may have gotten several things which are now out of stock thanks to your order. Go ahead, ask me how I know this.
