Christmas clearance (and more) at Pfaltzgraff
Are you all holiday-clearance-d out? (Confession: I hadn’t bought Christmas wrapping paper for maybe four years. I made out like a bandit a while back and it has lasted! But we were running low and so my big post-holiday splurge was a mess of new paper/labels. We’re stocked up for years. I think I spent around $6.)

It seems like Children’s Place is offering free shipping about once a week, these days, which is sort of giggle-worthy (because every time it’s “Today only!“), but hey, I’m not complaining.

Those with nut allergies, look away
Time to stock up on peanut butter! (But only if, you know, you like it. And aren’t allergic. Please, no anaphylaxis on my watch, mmkay?)
Remember that whole thing where the peanut crop this year was dreadful and prices went up and we all stocked up around this time last year because we knew it was going to happen? I don’t know about you, but I bought… ummm… maybe a couple of flats of peanut butter from Amazon before that, and have since run out and then every week at the grocery store I gasp and fan myself and reason that we can just wait for a sale.
Well, it’s time to stock up on Skippy if you like it—right now you can get the Skippy Natural Creamy 40-ounce for $6.23 shipped or or Skippy Natural Super Chunk 40-ounce for $5.87 shipped, when you buy via Subscribe & Save. That’s as low as $.15/ounce, and I’ll confess I tried the Skippy Natural on a whim one time when it was on sale, and it’s now my favorite brand. (I grew up as a Jif girl, but now I try to buy foods without a lot of extra and definitely without HFCS; the Skippy Natural tastes like “regular” peanut butter, and it doesn’t separate, but no HFCS and no unpronounceable ingredients.)

If you have any sort of dietary restriction, you likely carry snacks with you everywhere, because there’s nothing worse than getting caught away from home and not being able to find any viable options for food. (Okay, maybe that’s just me. I get cranky when I haven’t eaten.)
I started eating Larabars when I went gluten-free—it’s hard to find good gluten-free bars!—but I know lots of folks who like them because they’re vegan, or because they’re diary-free, or because they’re non-GMO and fair-trade certified. Or maybe people just like them because they’re delicious (no “cardboard” taste, here).
Anyway, I love them, but I don’t always love the price. Fortunately, it’s time to stock up, because Amazon currently has a clippable 35% off coupon available, and that can be combined with another 5% off and free shipping when you buy via Subscribe & Save.
