Little House at a little price

Big thanks to eagle-eyed reader Mandy for spotting this one—right now Amazon has The Complete Little House Nine-Book Box Set available for just $24.01 (their lowest price ever). Tales of homesteading life on the open prairie never go out of style, you know. I received this boxed set… oh… about 35 years ago. I read it to tatters, and bought a new set for my brand new baby (of course she needed a set of these books before she could even focus her eyes; why are you looking at me like that?) about 20 years later.

In other startling news, I am apparently kind of old.

There’s still time to hit the Creek

Once again, let us collectively stop and wonder how on earth Coldwater Creek ever makes any money. It’s truly a puzzle.

Right now if you shop the Outlet, their already-reduced items will be reduced by another 50% when you put them into your cart. Add coupon code AFLF768 for another 40% off of that price. And right now, everything ships for free. It’s pretty much a no-brainer.

They must make their money at the stores, I’ve decided. That’s where they keep the weird stuff, and where the people who are unaware of online shopping (and coupon codes) go. There’s no other possible explanation.

And a very happy 12/12/12 Kohlsday, too

Sure, it may be a numerically pleasing day, but it’s also Wednesday, and you know what that means—it must be time to head to Kohls!

Everyone gets free shipping on orders of $50+, plus $10 of Kohls Cash for every $50 spent. Kohls charge card holders can get free shipping on any size order with coupon code SHIPGIFT4KC, plus stack that with code RUDOLPH30 for 30% off any order. No Kohls card? You can still use code THANKS2677 for an extra 15% off.

Sure, I’m a little disappointed that nothing has a bunch of 12s in it, but I’ll get over it. Probably.

I love those guys

Q: Can I ever get enough of Lands’ End or Eddie Bauer?
A: No. No, I cannot.

We’re winding down in terms of shopping online and getting your purchases in time for Christmas, but these guys have you covered.

Shop at Eddie Bauer today and you can check out their new price reductions (some items are half off), plus when you spend $49+ you can use coupon code SNOW for free shipping.

Shop at Lands’ End today and you can use coupon code CANDYCANE with PIN 5025 for $40 off $100+ and free shipping. Plus they’ve brought back St. Nick’s Picks! My brain is having an argument now, and it goes like this: Those salted caramels were totally overpriced at $27.50, but really, is $19 today any better? What if I bought $100 worth and used the coupon…? (My brain is a jerk.)

Both options still give you time to get whatever you need before the holiday, but time’s a’wasting.

Happy 12/12/12 from 6pm!

For one day only, the date is weirdly repetitive. Wait, that wasn’t what I meant to tell you. Oh. Right! For one day only, 6pm.com is doing a $12/$24/$48 sale, to celebrate the date.

But really, do we care why? No, we don’t. It started right now, and ends tonight. And when the deals are gone, they’re gone.

As always, shipping is free. Go find the deals!

Kitchen play just got even more affordable

We saw a deal on this one about a month ago at $60, but today it’s a third cheaper than that! The Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises Kitchen & Table is currently just $39.99 shipped from Amazon, and it comes with everything pictured, and all the accessories can be stored inside. So it’s a table, a kitchen, and an overall center of imaginative play for your little ones.

I can’t promise you it’ll never go any lower than this, but it’s the lowest price it’s been so far. And I still want a kitchen like this in adult size. (“Everyone done eating? Sweep your dishes into the center compartment in the table, please!”)

The last ladder you’ll ever buy

I know it’s hard to get too excited about a ladder, for most of us, but there’ve been deals on other sizes of these Little Giant ladders in the past and they’re always hugely popular with the DIYers amongst us. Today’s Amazon Gold Box holds the 22-foot Little Giant RevolutionXE 300-lb multi-use ladder for just $199—its lowest Amazon price ever. (The current price on it at Home Depot is $340.)

This ladder is truly an ingenious do-it-all design—use it as an extension ladder, a stepladder, even configure it like scaffolding, if you need. Plus this baby weighs 50 pounds, so the free shipping alone is like getting an additional discount.

So, yeah. It’s not shoes. It’s not chocolate. And your kid probably wouldn’t be excited to find it under the tree. But it’s a pretty smokin’ deal if you have gutters to clean, walls to paint, and other up-high tasks to tend to.

Free shipping at Threadless today!

Lovely (and alert, which I am not feeling so much today…) reader Claire just emailed to tell me that apparently Threadless is having free shipping on all domestic order today! Well of course they are; I just placed an order there a couple of days ago. You’re welcome!

They’ve extended their current sale (a wide assortment of Ts for $9.99 and hoodies for $24.99) through tomorrow morning, too. And if you, like me, have a child who lives and breathes Minecraft? Well, their Minecraft collection is finally available for purchase. (They’re unfortunately not on sale, because they’re new, but they are totally awesome and for Christmas, I broke my “no buying at full price” rule.)

If you’re new to Threadless (is anyone still new to Threadless…?), I do recommend going up a size if you’re buying Ts; they tend to run small. The hoodies seem to be true to size, though.

Shield those devices, get earbud deals, too

If you or a loved one is getting something new and shiny this Christmas (heh), don’t forget the InvisibleShields! Right now at ZAGG they’re all half off when you apply coupon code 50day at checkout (may be used on up to 3 items). For those unfamiliar with ZAGG, InvisibleShield is pretty much the industry standard in screen protection, and they only do a big sale like this a couple of times a year.

Shipping is free on orders of $29.98+, and they share a cart with iFrogz, now, where there’s an automatic buy one pair of earbuds, get the second pair free promo going on, too. You shouldn’t have any trouble hitting the free shipping minimum, is my point.
