You put your Woot foot in, you take your Woot foot out…

You didn’t have anything planned for today, right? That’s a relief, because you’ll want to spend the day clicking around on the big Woot-Off that’s going on (I know how you are). Today on Woot, Home.Woot, Kids.Woot, Wine.Woot and Sport.Woot you’ll see a rotating frenzy of products at rock-bottom prices, and each one lasts about 20 minutes or until it sells out, whichever comes first.

This is where their new policy of $5 shipping for an entire day comes in really handy—buy something this morning, pay the shipping, and then if you snag something else this afternoon, your shipping is already paid. Sweet. Or, you know, enabling. Either way.

Maternity clothing just got more affordable

Of all the things I hate to spend money on, maternity clothes had to be right at the top of the list. You wear them for such a short time! But you feel dumpy and ungainly and want to wear something pretty! It’s a conundrum for the frugal, for sure.

I solved it (mostly) by sharing maternity clothing with friends, shopping consignment, and then splurging on a few pieces I loved when I could find them on sale. Right now you have three choices for maternity options at even better prices—all of the sale stuff at Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, and A Pea In The Pod is an extra 30% off when you put it in your cart, automatically.

And aside from the sale prices, just to be grateful about how far maternity fashions have come over the years. Because I spent my pregnancy with my oldest wearing a pair of brown flowered overalls. Not even kidding.

Need a new winter coat?

It’s hard to imagine that winter will be here soon—particularly where I live, because “winter” is a relative term, here in the south—but I hear it actually is going to get cold soon.

If you’re in need of a new coat (or other relatively expensive item) but are hoping for a deal, today’s your day to shop at Lands’ End—you can take 40% off any one item with coupon code COUNTRY and PIN 1840. Plus, you’ll get free shipping on your $50+ order.

I’m loving their brightly-colored wool outerwear, though I’m trying to remind myself that I’d only need a coat like that a couple of days a year….

Lay your tired head down

Apparently there’s this whole science of pillows—how long you’re supposed to use one, how to find the right squishiness level (why yes, that is the technical term), etc. (Do not get me started on websites that think it appropriate to show you a billion-times magnified picture of dust mites in order to convince you that your current mattress or pillow is crawling with nastiness. Bleah.) Me, I figure I need new pillows when my neck starts to hurt when I wake up in the morning. Or when the dog barfs on one of ’em.

Anyway, I’m kind of digging this Daily Deal at Graveyard Mall today on 2-packs of either Queen- or Jumbo-sized Homedics Micropedic pillows. I have no idea if the pillow are as great as touted—though I did check them out on the Homedics site and the reviews are great and price astronomical—but for under $15/apiece shipped I figure I’m willing to change it.

And if we hate them, maybe the dog will enjoy having a new place to yak.

Flash sale on laptops

If you’re in the market for a laptop, you may want to keep an eye on the flash sale happening today at Cowboom—they’re rotating through an assortment of refurbished laptops all day long, each of them at rock-bottom prices and available with free shipping.

The only catch is that there seems to be no way to predict what will come up when, or how long it’ll last. Right now I see a nice Toshiba machine for just $170, but it could be gone by the time I hit publish.

Make those teens happy

I have a philosophical issue with the store Wet Seal, and it probably stems from being so old and unhip, but nonetheless: What does it mean? Is there a seal flopping around on a beach somewhere, all wet, that somehow inspired skinny jeans? Is there a gasket one needs to wet to slide into said skinny jeans? Does it make any sense at all?? These are the things that keep me up at night.

Regardless, Wet Seal remains one of those stores all the teen girls seem to love, and if you must shop there (puzzling name aside), you may as well save some money. So! Today’s your day.

Today only (Thursday, September 13th, 2012), every order ships for free, automatically. All clearance items have an extra 50% deducted in your cart, and everything else drops an additional 25% in your cart. And on top of all that, you can apply coupon code WSLABOR30WEB for another 30% off on top of the automatic adjustments.

It almost—not quite, but almost—makes up for the weird store name.

Leapin’ lizards!

Four leaping lizards, to be precise. In today’s Graveyardmall deals, you can snag a 4-pack of lizard robot kits for just $19.99 (plus $1.99 shipping)—the perfect intersection of learning meets just-plain-cool.

For comparison: Amazon has a single lizard kit available for $35 + $5 shipping. It certainly makes the Graveyardmall deal look pretty good to me. And even better—they come in individual packaging, so you could order the bundle and restock your gift closet!

Also note that it’s just entertaining to say “leapin’ lizards.”

Shoes, glorious shoes

Right now there’s a huge sale going on over at Naturalizer, and on top of the reduced prices, every order ships for free, automatically.

On top of that, you can apply coupon code KEIRHTLS to save an additional 20% on your entire order.

All in all, that makes for a lot of very cute shoes at ridiculously discounted prices. Today’s turning out to be a pretty decent day.

There’s still time for another beach read

Summer may officially be over, but you don’t have to let it go that easily—grab one more fantastic escape novel from Lani Diane Rich for free at Amazon before it gets cold out! Right now they’re offering the Kindle version of The Comeback Kiss for free, so why wouldn’t you get it?

Hey, if you can’t get to the beach (or it’s too cool for that where you are), I have it on good authority that Rich’s books are also perfect for the couch or the tub. (Pro tip: Put your Kindle inside a Ziploc if you want to use it while taking a bubble bath. It works!)

It’s a great Wednesday to Kohls!

I’ve laid off of Kohls for a few weeks because there weren’t any free shipping coupons, plus every now and then I need to do a little detox. (“I admit that I am powerless over my addiction to cheap t-shirts….”)

But today seems like a great time to get back on that particular horse. In addition to the sales going on today—and there’s some special doorbusters to celebrate their 50th anniversary—everyone gets free shipping on $50+, automatically, and earns $10 in Kohls Cash for every $50 spent.

Kohls charge card holders can also use coupon code STYLE30 for another 30% off, plus coupon code LUV2BMVC for free shipping on any size order. No Kohls charge? That’s okay—you can use code ANNIVERSARY for an extra 15% off your order, anyway.

And this is why I just can’t quit Kohls.
