Kick off the week with shoes
Gooooood morning! Get it? Get it?? Kick off your week with shoes…?
Hey, I tried.
Even though my jokes are terrible, the specials at 6pm.com today are no laughing matter—huge savings on Clarks for you, while you scoop up some Crocs for the kids. At least, that’s how it’s working for me. If you’re buying Crocs for yourself, I won’t tell. Shipping is still just a flat $2.95/order, too.
There’s also a huge section of sale t-shirts, although this is where I admit my unhip-ness, because I cannot imagine why there are so many shirts proclaiming “OBEY!” But I guess it’s… a thing? I’ll be sticking to shoes.
Saturday deals
Gooooooood morning! I am getting a slow start today. I have no excuses. I was… ummm… drinking coffee and playing with my dog. Like a selfish, selfish person. But now I’m here! Yay!
I must say that lately the Target Daily Deals have been… lackluster. But today! Today they redeem themselves—it’s an assortment of Sonia Kashuk cosmetics and tools, and I have to say, I love the Sonia Kashuk stuff. I like the brushes, I like the makeup, and I definitely like it when it’s this cheap. Woo!
Shopping at Lands’ End today? Through June 28th, use coupon code GETREADY with PIN 1106 for free shipping on any order. If you’re spending $50+, though, use coupon code SAIL with PIN 9486—that’ll get you 25% off in addition to free shipping.
I can’t believe I forgot to mention Kohls this past Wednesday. Clearly, I’m off my game. But don’t worry—they’re having a sale today, too! (Thank goodness!) Earn Kohls Cash with your purchases ($10 for every $50 you spend), and if you have a Kohls card, use coupon code ENJOYSUMMER for 30% off and code SHIP4FREE for free shipping on any order. No Kohls card? Your $75+ order ships for free with code SHOPNSHIP, and you can also use code STACK15 for another 15% off your order.
The big semi-annual sale is on at American Eagle, and today only, use coupon code 92465601 for an additional 20% off, too. Works on the main site as well as Aerie and 77 Kids, too.
Just to mix things up a bit, 6pm.com has Skullcandy items mixed in with the spotlight shoes, today. Shipping is still just $2.95 and now you can be all, “But honey, I was just buying some new headphones for you!” when your shoes arrive. Ahem.
Finally, the current Amazon Lightning Deal is for a ukelele. For $25. I… kind of want one. C’mon, it’s adorable!
It’s possible I should just get off the computer and go have some more coffee, now.
Well hey there, Friday
Friday, come on it. It’s been too long! Let me pour you some coffee. I may even have some Girl Scout cookies around here, somewhere. No, it’s fine. Just don’t tell anyone.
No, I didn’t bring enough cookies for everyone. How about some deals, instead? Excellent! Let’s start with one of my favorites: Right now at Ann Taylor Loft, you’ll get an automatic extra 40% off all sale styles. And shipping is free on $50+, too.
Of course, I can’t seem to give up on the Amazon Friday Sale, either. I don’t know why. But if you need tea, coffee, or toddler food? They’re there for you. I also spotted this 36-pouch multi-pack of Keebler snacks for under $10 shipped, which might be handy if you’re the snack mom for something. And of course don’t forget that this is the last Friday for this month’s batch of $5 MP3 albums, too.
By the way… have a Lord of the Rings fan in your house? You can pre-order the Blu-ray extended edition trilogy at Amazon right now for $70. Ordinarily I’d feel like that was a lot, but each of those movies is about 5 hours long, right?
Did you know that Overstock has an entire section of what they call Redline Deals? They do, and some of the prices in there are insane.
That’s only a few deals to get you started, but I may be back later today, we’ll see. First I have to clean up all these cookie crumbs.
And a little something for you
There’s little I like more than a good excuse to buy myself something pretty at Amazon. But you probably already knew that. Check this one out: Right now they’re offering an extra 20% off on already-discounted clearance clothing, when you use coupon code FROMUS2U at checkout.
I always find Amazon’s clothing selection to be kind of high-end and not entirely cohesive, but when they do extra savings like this, I don’t care. It’s a great way to get a smoking deal on something you might never have been able to afford, otherwise. I’ve gotten a few really nice pieces of clothing this way.
Er, I mean, surely I shopped at only the finest boutiques. Yeah, that’s it.
They just keep growing, and expecting clothes
My kids are both in the grips of growth spurts, and half the time when they appear in the morning (usually past 10:00, when they’ve finally deigned to roll out of bed) I have to do a double-take and ask, “Did you grow in your sleep?” Pajamas that fit the night before seem to have shrunk overnight, and it’s only a matter of time before they’re taller than I am.
[Let us pause, briefly, while I sing a mournful rendition of “Sunrise, Sunset.” This is why you’re thankful that I don’t do video blogs.]
Where was I? Oh! Right! If your kids are similarly growth-spurt-y (totally a scientific term), you may need a few things from Children’s Place even though they just had a sale and a coupon last week. Well guess what! They’re still having a sale (shocking!) and through June 26th, you can use coupon code C3E2011 for an additional 20% off your $30+ order.
It won’t stop them from growing so fast, but it might stop you from going broke, keeping them clothed.
GNC’s $9.99 Super Sale
If you’re like me, you have the very best intentions of taking various vitamins and supplements for your health. Because you’re worth it! And your health is important! And so I tend to stock up on various things (calcium! fish oil!) and I take them until I run out, and then I look at the prices and go, “Oh, you know, it’s fine, I’ll just eat some cheese. And maybe some salmon.”
But then something like today’s $9.99 Super Sale at GNC happens and I stock up again, because they’ve got over 100 items which are just $9.99 with free shipping, today only. The regular prices on these items range from $12 to $30, but today everything is on sale. So I can stock up on whatever I need, until the next time when I run out and forget that it really does matter.
(I think I’ll eat some cheese, too, just to hedge my bets.)
I’m wearing a pair right now
Sometimes I feel like I post about shoes here an awful lot. But then I realize that yes, I do, but that’s only because shoes are awesome. Right? Right.
One of today’s featured deals at 6pm.com is up to 70% off Born shoes. The last time they ran this special I bought myself a couple of new pairs of sandals, because I had a 5-year-old beloved pair of Borns that were falling apart. If you have never bought Born shoes, I have to tell you that these are my absolute favorites for summer—the sandals actually have padding and arch support, and feel like real shoes even when they’re all strappy and sandal-y. I am old and decrepit (kind of) and I have yet to find a more comfortable sandal.
And at 70% off, that’s practically a sign from the angels. Just sayin’.
Woot a camera
Spruce up your kitchen to celebrate summer
Right now Oneida is offering 30 “Hot Deals of Summer,” and while it’s a great place to get a deal on flatware, that’s certainly not all they’re offering. I see a pizza stone set for just $8, and groovy salad tongs for $6. It’s more than silverware, is my point.
Two ways to make it even better: For the next couple of days, shipping is a flat $2.99 on all orders of under $100 (over that and it ships for free), plus you can apply coupon code TTE10 for an additional 10% off your order, even on sale items.
Don’t forget to check out the clearance, too. There’s even more deals there!
Take Vera to lunch
The big Summer Sale is ongoing at Vera Bradley, with 25% off everything in four of their most popular patterns, but today has a special bonus. Today only, grab a “Let’s Do Lunch” vinyl-lined lunch tote for $19 (regularly $28).
Now, I’m perfectly happy with my $10 lunch sack, but I’m not the Vera fiend that I know some folks are. Maybe this is the perfect gift for a friend or family member who’s all about Vera. And today there’s automatic free shipping on $75+, too, so maybe you snag all the ladies in your family some fancy lunch bags and look like a big spender at Christmas. I certainly won’t tell.
