A second chance to justify something pretty

Did you miss last week’s chance to take an extra 20% off already-reduced sale items at Piperlime? Not to worry! They’re offering two more days to save an extra 20%—just use coupon code EXTRA on any already-reduced item in the Tag Sale.

This is a little different than last week’s coupon, but still a great excuse to shop. So, you know, details, schmetails.

Stock up on BabyLegs

I can’t see any one baby needing this, but maybe you have a lot of baby showers to go to in the near future. Anyway, right now at BabyLegs, if you put $75 worth of clearance items into your cart, you can use coupon code WINTER75 to take another 75% off your order!

There aren’t all that many choices available, but again, if you want to buy gifts, this is a great way to stock up. Shipping is free, too.

Saturday deals

This weekend was kind enough to bring me… a migraine! So I’ll keep this brief.

Over at Gap—where earlier this week there was a coupon only for regular-price items—now you can use coupon code GAPSALE35 to take an additional 35% off items already on sale. They’re trying to keep us on our toes, I think.

Meanwhile, there’s no coupon, but there’s clearance of up to 70% off going on over at Old Navy. Their uniform polos are just $6! (Where was this sale in August? Hmph.)

There’s plenty of drool-worthy brands featured at 6pm.com today. Probably just as well that I can’t focus on the screen long enough to shop.

Finally, looks like a pretty good weekend clearance going on over at Macy’s, with an additional 25% coming off already-reduced clearance items.

That should keep you busy while I go hide in a dark room for a while….

Friday, what took you so long?

My kids have only been back to school for half a week, and I’m already wishing for spring break, or maybe even summer vacation. I think that’s a baaaaaaaad sign.

Thank goodness I have the Amazon Friday Sale (which should be renamed the Amazon Coffee Sale) to soothe my tortured, getting-up-entirely-too-early-to-pack-lunches soul!

I’ve heard great things about Stabucks VIA, though I have yet to try it, myself. At around $.60/cup, though, it’s certainly more appealing than standing in line behind someone who wants a double-shot, no-whip, two-pump hazelnut macchiato. Or whatever. There’s plenty of K-cups and T-discs available, too, which sound much dirtier than it actually is.

Whoa. For the month of January, Amazon is offering 1,000 MP3 album downloads for just $5, which is kind of crazy. Time to stock up on tunes!

And if you’re in the market for a TV upgrade, the Gold Box has a sweet 42″ Panasonic LCD for just $500 today.

Ready to stock up on Crocs for the warm weather? They’re having a blowout sale, and you can use coupon code novship for free shipping on any order, and stack code FABULOUS10 for an extra 10% off. Sweet.

Starting today and going through the weekend, take an additional 30% off clearance items at Aeropostale and an additional whopping 50% off clearance items at P.S. from Aeropostale with coupon code JANCLEAR. (Shipping is a flat $7 on up to $250, then jumps to $25, so if you’re spending a lot, I’d recommend placing multiple orders.)

Friday, I could get used to you. Just sayin’.

New shoes, too

Continuing in our lovely post-holiday sale-on-the-sale trend, it looks like Piperlime wants in on the action, too—through January 9th, take an additional 20% off sale prices there with coupon code SMILE. (Thanks for the tip, Aisha!) Always free shipping and returns, no matter what.

Of course, I always talk about Piperlime as a shoe store, and that’s really not true. They carry shoes and bags and jewelry and even clothing. It’s just that I rarely make it past the shoes. Ahem.

Another sale on the sale

This time it’s over at Lands’ End; for two days only (today and tomorrow), you can use coupon code JAN7 and PIN 5802 for 20% off your order of sale items. Here’s the tricky part: it doesn’t work on regular-price items, nor does it work on clearance items. So pay attention to what you’re putting in your cart.

The coupon will also give you free shipping if your order is $50+, too.

And does this coupon work on the sale items over at Lands’ End Canvas? It does. Doing a little happy dance, right here.

Slim down, via Slim-Fast

I’m really not a fan of any diet that requires special food, but then again, I realize that different things work for different people. That said, right now Amazon is offering big savings on select Slim-Fast products; most are already marked down, then take 15% off with coupon code SLIM2OII and save another 15% and get free shipping when you buy via Subscribe & Save. Some of the ready-to-drink shakes come out to under $.60/apiece!

Alternatively, you can just eat directly out of the bag of spinach whenever you’re hungry. That requires checking your teeth pretty often, though.

Express is practically giving it away

We’re now far enough out from the holidays that even the clearance is going on clearance. Woo!

Right now at Express, the clearance is up to 70% off, and then anything that’s marked down gets deducted another 20% when you put it in your cart. I guess it’s not quite as good as free, but it’s darn close.

And if you’ve never been to Express before, try not to be blinded by the leopard leggings and such. They have some really cute clothes tucked in amongst the micro-minis and other uber-trendy pieces.

Have a healthy, yummy, cheaper start to the year

A new month means a new crop of Amazon grocery specials, and I’m more than willing to capitalize on the deals regardless of what vows I’ve made about my eating habits for the coming year. And if you’ve vowed to eat a little healthier this year, don’t worry—you won’t be stuck in a corner, crying into your rice cakes. I promise!

First of all, you can save an additional 25% on Kashi products when you buy via Subscribe & Save and use coupon code KLGSNYNY for an additional 10% off. We’re big fans of the Kashi cereals (motto: more than that muesli stuff!), but, um, they also have cookies. Healthy cookies. That are pretty yummy. Ahem.

And second, you can save an additional 30% on Cascadian Farms products, again, by buying via Subscribe & Save and then using coupon code CSFMNYNY for another 15% off. Their granola bars are basically candy bars. Without the guilt. Heh.

Of course, I’m buying this stuff for my kids. Me, I’m just over here munching on carrot sticks. While I polish my halo. Yes.
