Coupons at Kohls, for a few more days
There’s a number of coupons expiring at the end of this month, so if you’ve been waffling about a purchase from Kohls, I’d get in there before they expire.
Here you go:
MVCTAKE15 — 15% off with your Kohls charge card
MVC9598 — free shipping with your Kohls charge card
NEW9143 — 10% off for everyone
It looks like they just did another round of deductions in the clearance section, so have at it. Of course, the game at Kohls is to order stuff that doesn’t go flying out of your basket while you’re browsing, but that’s part of the challenge, right?
You know I like shiny things. . . like hair
(Okay, that one was a stretch, I know….)
Dove’s got some new shampoos out! They make your hair shiny! (Also, I just had a really big cup of coffee; can you tell?) If you go here and click on “Get a Free Sample,” you can choose between Shine Therapy or Go Fresh Energy Therapize (which sounds a lot like something from a “Mom, do you ever have that not-so-fresh feeling?” commercial, to me).
Hey, it’s free shampoo. Free shiny shampoo. I’m in!
It’s not candle season, but you can pretend
Hey, the weather’s getting warmer, and everyone’s retail thoughts are turning to patios and lawns and pools.
Not candles.
That’s not super great news for the candle industry, but it is super great news for you, because those candle folks? They want you! They want you badly enough that they’re willing to lure you in. And because you’re so smart and pretty, you know that you can stock up now and have everything you need when the weather cools off again. You’re always thinking.
So go take a browse around at Illuminations, and if you see something that tickles your fancy, prepare to save big: Use coupon code 999201360 for $10 off your $10+ order through June 4th, 2008. (Buying more? Today only—May 28th, 2008—use code 999201351 for $15 off your $60+ order.)
Check out the Sale section for the best bargains, of course. And then pat yourself on the back for planning ahead, you savvy thing, you.
Stock up on cereal (or other stuff)
So, you know that Amazon does a new crop of grocery deals every month, right? But it can be hard to keep track of what deals are on when, and which things that qualify for promotional discounts are on sale.
That’s why you have me! I check this stuff obsessively, because I really need to get a life and possibly a hobby or two. Ahem.
Anyway! Right now there’s a deal on eligible grocery brands like Kellogg’s and Keebler where you can take $20 off your $49+ purchase. That’s pretty good, anyway, but there’s a number of available products that are already on sale, making it a great way to make your grocery dollars go even further.
Also, cookies don’t have any calories when you buy them on sale. I’m sure I read that somewhere….
The savings last all week
Office Depot wants you to know that their Memorial Day Sale-a-Bration is continuing all week long, and as some of the savings are pretty decent, I am even going to excuse them for calling it a Sale-a-Bration.
(Seriously? Did their marketing people manage that with a straight face?)
Anyway, there’s plenty of deals to be had—free paper when you buy toner, cheap hard drives and CDs, etc.
Don’t forget that coupon code 99012634 is still valid for 10% off everything but technology, through the end of the month. Or go through this link right here to automatically save $30 on your $150+ order, if you’re making a larger purchase.
Orders of $50+ ship for free, automatically, and usually the very next day. I loves me some Office Depot, people.
Shrub a dub dub
Doing a bit of landscaping? Home Depot is offering a coupon to its Garden Club members which allows you to buy one shrub, get one free. I got mine via email, but a bit of digging around revealed that they’re not uniquely coded, so, um, why not have a whole bunch? You could share ’em with your friends, or go to several different stores. Either way.
Here you go: Take six; they’re small.
Happy gardening!
Wednesday, all day
It’s been a while since I’ve posted the JC Penney Wednesday Deals, and that’s because they haven’t been all that thrilling of late. I’m sort of digging the Mission Style Clock they have up today, though, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Try coupon code MAYRSURV for 15% off any order, or code SUPERSUM for free shipping on $49+.
(I like how—if I like the clock—they think I’ll also like these. Because I think those are scary.)
Daddy wants a dishwasher-safe grill
You may remember that there was a deal on this fabulous little item at Amazon a while back, but this is the cheapest I’ve seen it, recently. And really, Father’s Day is coming, and nothing says “thanks for raising me” or “thanks for raising my kids” like something you can use to char meat. Right? Right!
So, right now the George Foreman Next Grilleration Grill is marked down to just $90.99 at Linens ‘N’ Things. (This is the one with 5 different sets of removable, dishwasher-safe plates, by the way—the latest model.)
Use coupon code 26620000008 to take 20% off one item, making this just $73 before tax. Ship it to the store and pick it up for free, or spring for the shipping. Either way, you’ll more than beat the current Amazon price of $99.99.
And now I have an inexplicable craving for a hot dog. Huh.
I dunno about you, but I can use some lifting
This one is both a sweepstakes entry and a free sample, and really, just the free Aveda Lifting Serum would be enough for me.
One, because it’s Aveda, and that stuff is magic.
Two, because it supposedly lifts, and short of attaching strings between my face and the ceiling, I’ll try whatever I can get. Just sayin’.
Need a laptop webcam?
Here’s a neat little deal if you’re wanting a webcam for your laptop.
(Normally this is where I would insert my snarky comments about how if only you had a Mac you’d already have a webcam, built in. But in light of my computer’s recent woes I will refrain.)
Right now Amazon has the Logitech QuickCam Deluxe marked down to just $39.99 with free shipping. That’s not a bad price, but pair it with the available $30 rebate and it’s a great deal.
If you need a webcam, that is.
