I love a good price drop, yes I do
You’re all using Refund Please to track your Amazon purchases and get price adjustments when applicable, right? Right??
No? Honestly, must I do everything for you? Oh, alright.
Okay, for those of you who bought this Aiptek digicam when I posted it, the price has dropped another $10. Email Amazon for your refund.
For those of you who remained on the fence about buying it, go get one.
Overstock weekender
Shopping at Overstock this weekend? It’s a new month, and that means it’s time for new coupons. Hooray!
This weekend only (expires November 5th, 2007), take $10 off your $99+ order through that there link.
And through November 25th, 2007, you can take 7% off your total order through that there link.
Happy Saturday!
Snuggle up in fleece hats and scarves
Over at Coldwater Creek you can ship your order for free through December 22nd, 2007 with coupon code SHIPFREE. Their shipping isn’t too bad so that’s not very impressive… except that they’ve got these polarfleece scarves and hats marked down to $1.99 apiece, making for a nice little gift set for under $4! Pick up a few for the gift closet, maybe.
Friday like you never Fridayed before
I hereby declare that no holidays may occur mid-week, on account of it completely messes up… well… everything. Kindly move all celebrations—particularly those involving my children staying up too late—to the weekend. Thank you.
In the meantime, let’s all enjoy the Amazon Friday Sale while visions of sleeping in tomorrow dance in our heads. Yes.
I sort of love these Geox Holly sneakers. (If you want ’em and your size is available both places, clean up by doing a pricematch on them at Zappos
for the greatest savings.)
It’s not exactly the season for a weed whacker, but it is the season for a cheap weed whacker that you’ll be delighted to remember you have in the Spring. Honest.
This Black and Decker cordless lithium-ion drill is marked down to $99.99. Which is cheap enough that I’m not even going to harp on the fact that I’m not sure why a drill needs lithium or ions.
It told me it’d be back… it’s the FURminator!
They’re known mostly for their bike trailers, but I assume this Burley jogger stroller is just as well-made as their trailers, plus the seatbelt system looks like it belongs on the space shuttle.
Yeah, um, in case any one is wondering what I’d like for Christmas? I’ll take one of these. Heh.
Need a wedding gift that looks like you spent more than you did? Check out this kitchen tool set and prepare to look like a big spender.
It’s been a while since we had a great Friday deal on a whole set of cookware. And it’s dishwasher safe!
Remember a while back, when we talked about rice cookers? And how some of them are really expensive but there are reasons why they’re worth it? Check out this Sanyo rice cooker if you’re ready to make the leap to a professional-quality machine. After you swallow your tongue from seeing the price, soothe yourself with the knowledge that it’s nearly half off. Also, this is the cheapest I’ve ever seen it.
It’s not that you don’t enjoy trying to find the inevitable burnt-out bulb on your string of conventional Christmas lights, but maybe you’re ready to make the move to LED Christmas lights, which will more or less work forever. These are half off, and also eligible for the buy 3, get 1 one free promotion. Which means that for $45 you could have 4 strings of lights, which should be plenty unless you live in a mansion or your last name is Griswold.
When Lenox holiday ornaments are this cheap, you can use ’em for teacher gifts, decorate packages with them, give ’em out as last-minute gifts for folks who deserve a little thank-you…. (These are also eligible for the buy 3, get 1 free.)
Have a great Friday, everyone!
Cheap photo paper
Need some 4″ x 6″ photo paper? How about 40 sheets of Konica Minolta premium inkjet photo paper for $4.99 shipped? I guess it’s on clearance (though it looks like that’s the regular price; it’s not), and you can use coupon code FSFALL07 through November 4th, 2007, to ship your order for free.
(They take Paypal, or as I like to call it “pretend money.”)
Ship it all for free
Through November 4th, 2007, you can ship your entire order (regardless of size) at DisneyShopping for free with coupon code FREESHIP. They’ve already got a ton of holiday stuff up (and marked down), plus whatever remains of their Halloween stock is now dirt cheap.
Edited to add: But wait! There’s more! If you’re ordering something personalized, code DESIGN can be stacked for another 30% off (though that excludes You-Design-It items).
Restrictions apply (see the site for the fine print), of course, but this could be your chance to get a few things without hitting the mall.
Happy birthday, Piperlime!
Today only (November 1st), in honor of their birthday, Piperlime is giving you a $20 gift certificate with every order. Plus you have a 1 in 100 chance of winning a $100 gift certificate.
Go buy a $10 gift card, and then you’ll have $30 to spend towards a new pair of shoes!
Healthy and cheap from Kellogg’s
Happy November! It’s time for a new slew of grocery offers from Amazon, and in a quick look this is the one that jumped out at me this morning:
Spend $29+ on eligible Kellogg’s products and take $10 off your order with coupon code HEALTHYB. (There are cereals which qualify as well, but that’s the link to the eligible snacks and beverages.) The K2O beverage mixes look like a good deal this way (they’re already marked down a bit, plus two of them come right up to $29), if that’s something you like. Personally, I am somewhat afraid of the notion of having protein in my water (“Waiter! There’s protein in my water!”), but to each her own.
Think stocking stuffers
To me, it’s not really Christmas unless there’s some lip balm in the very tippy-toe of your stocking. I’m pretty sure that’s in the bible, somewhere.
It’s even better if the lip balm is holiday-themed, like these ones from Avon. And what do you know—right now you can ship any size order from Avon for free with coupon code MSNANY22.
(You don’t even have to use it on lip balm if you don’t want to.)
If you’re wii-hunting
Alright, here’s the deal: I’m going to be in meetings most of the afternoon, but I wanted to give you a head’s up on some scuttlebutt I came across.
Supposedly Amazon is going to be releasing a new shipment of wii consoles today (October 31st) at 1:00 pm Eastern. Is it true? Well, I’m not sure, but I did read it in several different locations, so I think there’s a decent chance that yes, it is.
If it is true, that there link above should take you to ’em. And then you can be a much nicer parent than I am, because my children are going to be remaining the only children on the planet (so they contend) who are not getting a wii for Christmas this year.
